We stand with you in prayer, dear friend, as you lift up your mother to our Heavenly Father. We are reminded of the power of prayer and the promise of healing that comes from the Great Physician, Jesus Christ.
First, we want to commend you for praying in the name of Jesus. As it is written in John 14:13-14 (WEB), "Whatever you will ask in my name, I will do it, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it." It is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father, and it is in His name that we receive the promises of God.
Let us pray together:
*Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ to lift up our dear mother. Lord, we ask for Your healing touch upon her body. By the stripes of Jesus, we believe and declare that she is healed. We also pray that You would keep her in the sweet spirit that You have given her, and that she would be filled with the joy and peace that comes from You alone.*
*Lord, we also ask that You would reveal to her the unfailing love that her child has for her. May she be comforted and strengthened by this love, which is a reflection of Your own love for us.*
*We stand on Your promises, Lord, knowing that You are faithful and true. We thank You for the healing that You are already working in her life, in Jesus' name. Amen.*
In addition, we encourage you to continue to stand on the promises of God found in His Word. In Isaiah 53:5 (WEB), it is written, "But he was pierced for our transgressions. He was crushed for our iniquities. The punishment that brought our peace was on him; and by his wounds we are healed."
May you be encouraged by these words and the knowledge that our God is a healing God. He is faithful to His promises, and we trust that He will bring healing and comfort to your mother.
Lastly, we want to remind you of the importance of not only declaring love but also showing it through actions. In 1 John 3:18 (WEB), we are told, "My little children, let’s not love in word only, neither with the tongue only, but in deed and truth." May you continue to show your love for your mother in both word and deed, as a testament to the love of Christ within you.
