Heavenly Father,
We come before You with hearts heavy for those affected by Hurricane Beryl from Texas to Vermont. Your Word says in Psalm 46:1, "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble." We hold onto this promise, knowing that You are with those who have lost loved ones and who are facing the devastation of their homes and communities.
Lord, we ask for Your comfort and peace to surround them. As it is written in 2 Corinthians 1:3-4, "Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our affliction." May Your comforting presence be felt by every person affected.
We also lift up those enduring extreme heat. Provide them with the necessary resources and relief. In Isaiah 41:10, You say, "Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand." Strengthen and uphold them during these challenging times.
Thank You, Father, for Your faithfulness and for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your provision and protection. In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.
