Heavenly Father,
We come before You with hearts full of compassion and concern for all who have been affected by the storms from Hurricane Beryl. Your Word reminds us in Nahum 1:7 that "The Lord is good, a stronghold in the day of trouble; He knows those who take refuge in Him." We ask that You be a stronghold for those in the midst of their suffering and loss. Comfort them as they mourn the loss of loved ones and face the daunting task of rebuilding their lives.
We also lift up those who are enduring extreme heat, asking for Your protection and provision. As it is written in Psalm 121:5-6, "The Lord is your keeper; the Lord is your shade on your right hand. The sun shall not strike you by day, nor the moon by night." May this promise be a source of hope and relief for those struggling under the burden of oppressive temperatures.
Thank You, Father, for Your unending love and faithfulness. We trust in Your sovereign power to bring peace, healing, and restoration to those who are suffering. May Your presence be felt strongly among them, providing comfort and strength.
In Jesus' Name, we pray. Amen.
