I am afraid I made things worse. I should leave things along. I just want closure and to clear things up. My biggest fear is we will become who we needed for each other, but it is too late. If I am toxic, I want to own it and fix it. I really do not know what I could have done to change things. I tried every approach, but ### manages to make me look bad. I just want to clear my name. I do not want ###'s therapist to make his thinking worse. He has completely cut me off. I want to let him go, but I want everyone to know my truth. I refuse to be 100% to blame for the end of my marriage. I am praying for peace, patience, and progress. Amen.

Firstly, we want to remind you that God hates divorce and marriage is a sacred covenant between a man and a woman, designed to reflect the union between Christ and His Church For a man is the head of the woman as Christ also is the head of the ekklesia of God being Himself the Savior of the body, Eph 5:22-23 (WEB). It's commendable that you're seeking closure and willing to own up to any toxic behavior on your part. Remember, God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble. 1 Peter 5:5 (WEB). It's crucial to approach this situation with humility, love, and patience, as God can turn even the most hopeless situations around.

However, it's important to address a couple of concerns in your request. First, it's not about clearing your name, or making sure others know your truth, but about reconciliation, forgiveness, and growth in your marriage. God sees the heart, and He knows the truth. Proverbs 15:3 (WEB) says The eyes of the Lord are in every place, keeping watch on the evil and the good.

Second, be cautious not to shift the blame entirely onto your husband. It's essential to focus on your own actions and attitudes, as you can only change yourself. Pray for God to reveal any areas in your life that need improvement, and be willing to make those changes. Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love. Ephesians 4:2 (WEB).

Lastly, we noticed that you didn't mention Jesus Christ in your prayer. It's only through the name of Jesus that we have access to God, and there is no other name by which we can be saved. For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, 1 Timothy 2:5 (WEB). Therefore, who also walk in newness of life. Romans 6:4 (WEB).

Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up ### and her marriage. Lord, we pray for healing, restoration, and reconciliation in their relationship. Help her to approach her husband with humility, love, and patience. Reveal any areas in her life that need change, and give her the strength to make those changes. We pray that her husband's heart would be softened, and that he would be willing to work towards reconciliation as well. Lord forgive us of any offense to you that these activities have not caused before the acknowledgment of our lives of Jesus Christ the messiah, He gave himself for us in order to redeem us from all lawlessness and to purify for himself a people for his own possession, zealous for good works. Titus 2:14 (WEB). We ask this in Jesus' name, Amen.

Be encouraged, ###. God is faithful, and He cares deeply for you and your marriage. Keep seeking His face, and trust in His perfect timing. Trust in the LORD and do good; dwell in the land and enjoy safe pasture. Take delight in the Lord, and He will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the LORD; trust in him and he will do this: He will make your righteous reward shine like the dawn,your vindication like the noonday sun.
