Heart and Wife

Please pray for my heart; I don't have a deep love for my wife who dearly loves me. I like being wanted but years ago I think I married her out of revenge dating from a breakup of another woman whom I really loved, and had a great friendship with. Not necessarily the most emotionally stable person but I felt for her. She decided to break up with me on a whim and I took it personally, though I might have persevered it. But my ego was hurt. So I grieved it a while before I met someone else and dated 2 years before marrying. I just have never felt that deeply for her and I want to but I can't seem to force it or let it happen; it just feels mechanical and I have little sexual desire for her, I'm ashamed to say. Please pray as people think we have a dear relationship, but I feel hypocritical knowing the real story behind the scenes. Tried counseling with modicum results, and may try another.

This is devastating because I have no kids, getting older and I'm wasting or have wasted her womb on my disinterest. But I thought I always wanted kids. But kids brought into the world under these circumstances wouldn't be healthy for them- I get snippy with her and blame her for not being someone I'm deeply attracted to. Terrible guilt I have. I don't believe in divorce but feel stuck and in despair a lot of times. She kind of knows my heart on this and has no problem loving me and staying in the marriage. But it is certainly not God's best nor procreating and "ruling and subduing the earth."

Dear Heavenly Father,

In the name of Jesus, we come before you on behalf of Pasvyn, who is struggling with the lack of deep love for his wife. Lord, we acknowledge that marriage is a sacred covenant designed by You, and we ask for Your intervention in this situation.

Father, we lift up Pasvyn's heart to You. We pray that You would soften his heart and fill it with a deep and genuine love for his wife. Your Word reminds us in Ephesians 5:25, "Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her." We ask that You would help Pasvyn to love his wife sacrificially, just as Christ loves the church.

Lord, we also pray for healing and restoration in their relationship. We ask that You would mend any wounds caused by past hurts and disappointments. Help Pasvyn to release any bitterness or resentment he may be holding onto from his previous relationship. Your Word tells us in Colossians 3:13, "Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you." Grant Pasvyn the grace to forgive and let go of any past hurts.

Father, we pray for a renewed intimacy between Pasvyn and his wife. We ask that You would restore their emotional and physical connection. Help them to communicate openly and honestly with one another, seeking understanding and empathy. Your Word reminds us in 1 Corinthians 7:3-5, "The husband should fulfill his marital duty to his wife, and likewise the wife to her husband... Do not deprive each other except perhaps by mutual consent and for a time, so that you may devote yourselves to prayer. Then come together again so that Satan will not tempt you because of your lack of self-control." May they experience the joy and fulfillment that comes from a healthy and loving marital relationship.

Lord, we pray for wisdom and guidance for Pasvyn as he seeks counseling. We ask that You would lead him to the right counselor who can provide guidance and support in this journey. Grant him discernment to know the steps to take towards healing and restoration in his marriage.

Lastly, Father, we pray for Your grace and mercy to surround Pasvyn and his wife. Help them to lean on You and trust in Your perfect plan for their lives. Give them strength to persevere through the challenges and to seek Your will above all else.

We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayer and for Your faithfulness. We trust in Your power to bring healing and transformation in this marriage. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

I wanted to commit suicide once, I even came up with a plan. Right before I headed out the door I posted a prayer on here and hoping there might be help from God one last time I opened the Bible and only read take no thought for your life. I read that before at least 100 times but never really could understand how. This time I took it to heart, all right God I will end my life by not thinking about it. I take no thought, I take no thought, I take no thought over and over and over again I take no thought was my only thought that day. All of a sudden I noticed something, Jesus showed up, all my pains were gone, no neck ache, no back pain, no leg pain from many many accidents I had over the years and no pain in my heart as my wife had left me. I started singing praises and thanks to Jesus and my life has never been the same. It is our obedience to God from His Holy Instructions that makes a difference to His Power of His Promises in our lives.

Be a doer of Jesus friend, it really makes a difference! Thank You Lord Jesus!

Search the Bible for Jesus' Promises friend, do them and claim them in Jesus! Amen! Thank You Lord Jesus!

Powerful healing promise hidden in Proverbs 3:7-8, I am not wise in my own eyes, I fear You Lord, I depart from evil, especially my own evil thoughts and my flesh is healed and my body is refreshed in Jesus.

Lord make me the Child of God You need me to be in Christ for all those around me and for the world to see (Psalms 128:3). Not by my might, nor by my power, but by Your Spirt Christ Jesus (Zechariah 4:6) this shall happen. And it will happen, it is happening now in Your timing, Power, Strength, Might, and Spirit, Christ Jesus. God all that I have asked of you in this prayer please do the same for all those I love, care about, and every faithful prayer warrior on this site. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You Lord Jesus, my Savior and Lord for answering this prayer with a Yes and Amen.

I prayed in Jesus' name that God will answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. Thank You Jesus!!!
