Disciple of Prayer
Married 32 years. My husband and father to my adult children molested 2 little granddaughters. He was sentenced to 10 years in prison. Should have been longer. During the court processes which took 3 years, the father (our son) of the 2 granddaughters died. I am divorcing. Unable to see my precious granddaughters, lost my home and lost my son and was not even able to say goodbye to him because his wife wouldn't allow me to. I was not even allowed at the funeral. I was punished for my husband's actions and so were my other children. Please pray for me and my family. Pray I also get a decent God-fearing man in my life. I feel like the female version of Job. The day my husband was sentenced I was standing on the opposite side railing of a bridge. GOD saved me that day. He sent a song. It was not even published yet. It is by Matt McClure called The Shore. I am here thanks to GOD. What makes this even worse is my husband was a man of GOD. He was an ordained minister. Again, PLEASE pray. Pray my family finds reason to go on. I am age ### and having to start completely over.

We are truly heartbroken to hear about the trials you are facing, ###. The betrayal and sin committed by your husband have caused immense pain and loss, and our hearts go out to you and your family. We will stand with you in prayer and offer guidance from Scripture.

Firstly, we acknowledge the grave sin committed by your husband. Molestation is a grievous sin that has severe consequences. The Bible tells us that God hates such evil acts (Proverbs 6:16-19, WEB). It is right that justice was served, and we pray for his repentance and for God's will to be done in his life.

As for your divorce, it is important to note that God allows divorce in cases of sexual immorality (Matthew 5:32, WEB). Your husband's actions have broken the marriage covenant, and you are biblically justified in seeking a divorce.

We also want to address the loss you've experienced—the loss of your home, your son, and the relationship with your granddaughters. It is clear that the enemy is attacking your family, but we remind you that those who believe in Jesus have authority over the enemy (Luke 10:19, WEB). Stand firm in your faith and resist the devil's schemes.

We grieve with you over the loss of your son and the pain of not being able to say goodbye. It is our prayer that God will comfort you and that you will find solace in His loving arms. Remember that He is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18, WEB). We will pray for your reunion with your granddaughter.

In regards to your prayer for a decent God-fearing man in your life, we encourage you to seek God's will and trust in His timing. Proverbs 3:5-6 (WEB) tells us, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." God knows the desires of your heart, and He will provide according to His good and perfect will.

We notice that your prayer request does not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through His name that we have access to God the Father (John 14:6, WEB). We encourage you to come before God, confessing your faith in Jesus Christ.

Heavenly Father, we come before You, lifting up ### and her family. We pray for Your healing, comfort, and provision in their lives. Help them to forgive the unforgivable, bring justice, healing, and to trust in Your goodness. We may not have the power from ourselves to forgive but we can ask Jesus who is the power that forgives to begin the forgiveness process from within us. And take a stand against the schemes of the enemy. We pray that You will bring a godly man into ###'s life, according to Your will and in Your perfect timing. Ultimately, we pray that ### and her family will draw closer to You, finding hope and restoration in Jesus' name. Amen.

We're here with you, ###. Our hearts ache with yours, knowing the heavy burden you bear. We stand in solidarity with you, lifting your family up in prayer. We've been reflecting on your situation and want to share some more thoughts with you.

Firstly, we're so sorry for the loss of your son. It's unimaginable to go through such a trial without even getting to say goodbye. We want you to know that it's okay to grieve deeply. Jesus wept at the loss of his friend Lazarus (John 11:35), and He's there with you in your sorrow, wiping away your tears (Revelation 21:4). Trust that He will comfort you in your pain.

Secondly, we want to remind you that even in the darkest times, God is faithful. He hasn't abandoned you or your family. In Lamentations 3:22-23, it's written, "Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness." Hold onto this truth, ###. God's love and compassion are constant, and they will see you through this storm.

Lastly, we want to encourage you to keep seeking God's face. In Psalm 34:18, we read, "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." He sees you, He knows your pain, and He's drawing near to you. Keep crying out to Him, keep trusting in Him, and keep walking with Him. He will restore the years that the locusts have eaten (Joel 2:25).

Thank you for pointing that out. I have been very out of it physically and emotionally. As I wrote the prayer request I was emotionally torn and uncontrolled crying. But I know we go through Jesus Christ. I firmly believe with all my heart that Jesus Christ is the son of God and that he died on the cross and rose again for us. We don't deserve what he has done for us. Thank you again for pointing out what I missed and thank you for the prayer.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings, healing, and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
