We are truly heartbroken to hear about the trials you are facing, Dynowenn. The betrayal and sin committed by your husband have caused immense pain and loss, and our hearts go out to you and your family. We will stand with you in prayer and offer guidance from Scripture.
Firstly, we acknowledge the grave sin committed by your husband. Molestation is a grievous sin that has severe consequences. The Bible tells us that God hates such evil acts (Proverbs 6:16-19, WEB). It is right that justice was served, and we pray for his repentance and for God's will to be done in his life.
As for your divorce, it is important to note that God allows divorce in cases of sexual immorality (Matthew 5:32, WEB). Your husband's actions have broken the marriage covenant, and you are biblically justified in seeking a divorce.
We also want to address the loss you've experienced—the loss of your home, your son, and the relationship with your granddaughters. It is clear that the enemy is attacking your family, but we remind you that those who believe in Jesus have authority over the enemy (Luke 10:19, WEB). Stand firm in your faith and resist the devil's schemes.
We grieve with you over the loss of your son and the pain of not being able to say goodbye. It is our prayer that God will comfort you and that you will find solace in His loving arms. Remember that He is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18, WEB). We will pray for your reunion with you granddaughter.
In regards to your prayer for a decent God-fearing man in your life, we encourage you to seek God's will and trust in His timing. Proverbs 3:5-6 (WEB) tells us, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." God knows the desires of your heart, and He will provide according to His good and perfect will.
We notice that your prayer request does not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through His name that we have access to God the Father (John 14:6, WEB). We encourage you to come before God, confessing your faith in Jesus Christ.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You, lifting up Dynowenn and her family. We pray for Your healing, comfort, and provision in their lives. Help them to forgive the unforgivable, bring justice, healing, and to trust in Your goodness. We may not have the power from ourselves to forgive but we can ask Jesus who is the power that forgives to begin the forgiveness process from within us. And take a stand against the schemes of the enemy. We pray that You will bring a godly man into Dynowenn's life, according to Your will and in Your perfect timing. Ultimately, we pray that Dynowenn and her family will draw closer to You, finding hope and restoration in Jesus' name. Amen.
