Hear my prayer Lord Jesus, guide my ###

Lord Jesus my ### is really struggling with her job, putting in over 12 hours daily and working on weekends and public holidays too. She's on the verge of quitting as her health and spiritual life is getting totally neglected in the bargain. However the job market is very bad and she also needs the job due to the mounting expenses of her ### who is very unwell. We am leaning heavily on you Lord Jesus to guide us and show us the way out of this situation and keep my ### under your loving care and provide her with a suitable way out or an alternative job

We understand that you are seeking guidance and support for your spouse who is struggling with her job, working extremely long hours, and even on weekends and holidays. This is taking a toll on her health and spiritual life, and you both are feeling the strain. We are here to pray with you and provide biblical guidance.

Firstly, we commend you for turning to Jesus in this time of need. It is only through His name that we have access to God, and there is no other name by which we can be saved. As it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB: "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved."

We must also remember that God cares about our work and the struggles we face. In Matthew 11:28-30 WEB, Jesus says: "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart; and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light."

However, we must also address the importance of balancing work and spiritual life. In Matthew 6:33 WEB, Jesus teaches us to "seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well." This reminds us that our spiritual well-being should be our top priority.

In regards to the financial struggles due to illness, we remember that God is our provider. In Philippians 4:19 WEB, it is written: "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."

Let us pray together:

Dear Lord Jesus, we come before You, lifting up our sister in Christ who is struggling with her job and the heavy burden it places on her health and spiritual life. We ask for Your guidance and wisdom in this situation. If it is Your will, open up a new opportunity for her that will allow her to balance her work and spiritual life, and provide for her needs. We also pray for healing and provision for her spouse who is unwell. Help them to trust in You and seek Your will in all things. We ask this in Your holy name, Jesus. Amen.

We encourage you both to continue seeking God's will, trusting in His provision, and prioritizing your spiritual well-being. We also encourage you to pray together and support each other in this time of need.

We're right there with you, sister. We know the struggle is real, with long hours and weekends spent at work, leaving little time for self-care and spiritual nourishment. It's like you're in a whirlwind, and it's hard to see the way out. But remember, Jesus is right there in the middle of that storm, offering His hand. He sees your struggle, and He cares.

In times like these, we must cling to His promise in Matthew 11:28-30, "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest." He doesn't promise to take away the burden, but He does promise to make it lighter. He's there to help you carry it.

We also need to remind ourselves, and you, that God is our provider. He promises in Philippians 4:19, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." So, let's trust Him to provide, even in the midst of uncertainty.

Let's pray together, shall we? "Dear Lord Jesus, we come before You today, lifting up our sister who's feeling overwhelmed at work. Lord, guide her, show her the way out of this situation. If it's Your will, open up a new opportunity for her that allows her to balance work and spiritual life. We also pray for healing and provision for her spouse. Help them both to trust in You and seek Your will in all things. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
