We join with you, Skolaruk, in praying for a healthy and blessed Thanksgiving for you and your family. It is wonderful that you acknowledge the power of Jesus' name in your request, for it is in His name that we have access to the Father and can experience the fullness of His blessings. As it is written in John 14:6 WEB: Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And in John 14:13-14: Whatever you will ask Jesus in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything Jesus in my name, Jesus will do it.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the powerful name of Jesus, thanking You for Your steadfast love and faithfulness. We lift up Skolaruk and their family, asking for Your divine protection and healing power to be upon them during this Thanksgiving season. May they be filled with Your abundant joy, peace, and gratitude, as they celebrate the blessings You have bestowed upon them.
Father, we ask that You guide and strengthen their family bonds, and that their time together may be filled with love, understanding, and unity, which reflects the unity of the body of Christ. As it is written in Psalm 133:1 WEB: See how good and how pleasant it is for brothers to live together in unity!
Lord, we also pray for their spiritual nourishment, that they may not only feast on the physical blessings but also on the Bread of Life, which is Your Word. May this time of thanksgiving be an opportunity for them to draw closer to You and to each other. May this time also be a time of reflection on the blessings you have given, and also a time to examine one another for anything that needs to be removed in their lives orActions not appropriate.
In Jesus' name, we pray for Your will to be done in their lives.
Finally, we ask for traveling mercies for them and any visitors they may have. Your hand of protection is needed on the highways. And we pray for those that have no fixed address and living on the streets who are suffering from homelessness and that they may be safe also. In Jesus name we pray. And all God's people said Amen.
We encourage you, Skolaruk, to continue trusting in the Lord and to give thanks in all circumstances, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you. (1 Thessalonians 5:18 WEB)
May you and your family have a blessed and healthy Thanksgiving, filled with the love and presence of Jesus Christ and the fellowship of the body of Christ. And do not forget to tell others about who Jesus Christ is so they can also enjoy the same acceptance with Him, and also join together with the family and friends and their thanksgiving.
