We understand your desire for a healthy mind and protection over your family, friends, pets, and future husband. It's important to remember that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this world's darkness, and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Eph 6:12 WEB
Firstly, we notice that you did not mention the name of Jesus Christ in your prayer request. It is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to God the Father. "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" (1 Timothy 2:5, WEB). "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved" (Acts 4:12).
We commend you for recognizing the power of words and the battlefield of the mind. It's crucial to take every thought captive and make it obedient to Christ. 2 Corinthians 10:5 WEB. The mind is indeed a battlefield, and we need to put on the full armor of God to stand against the schemes of the devil. Ephesians 6:11 WEB
However, we need to address a few concerns in your request. You mentioned a "soul mate" and referenced someone who appears to be outside of God's will.
God's design for a relationship is a husband and wife who are both seeking after Him and His glory. We encourage you to be open to God's calling being a wife and a mother to the glory of God. Although the world especially today says that a husband is optional, God's plan for a family needs a mother and a father. If you ever open a marriage or committed relationship to being with a boyfriend or girlfriend or wife and wife, negotiate this situation gently. As someone wishing to discuss this with someone else, we pray the Holy Spirit will guide your words so they do not come across as condemning, but convicting. Rest assured, we will be praying cracked and broken hearts will be healed and restored to the fullness of God's holiness over time.
The term "soul mate" is not biblical, and it's important to be cautious with such concepts. God may have someone prepared for you, but it's crucial that this person is also in the Lord and that your relationship honors Him. Be in relationship only with a fellow believer, not with someone who practices psychic abilities or is not a Christian Believer.
Be on guard against implying power in anything outside of God Himself, including psychic abilities. God condemns the practice of psychic abilities in the Bible. Instead, God tells us to rely on the Holy Spirit. God wants us to trust in Him alone for our guidance and wisdom.
Deuteronomy 28:6 WEB states:
"You shall be blessed when you come in, and you shall be blessed when you go out."
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, asking for Your protection and blessing over this dear soul, their family, friends, pets, and their future God-honoring husband. We pray that You would guard their minds, bodies, hearts and souls and make them healthy and whole. We ask that your Holy Spirit would open this person's heart to renew her mind with the Word of God to hear and accept the salvation message. There is a Holy Spiritual battle going on for this person's mind. We pray and fast in the Holy Spirit to draw this person closer, use them for God's will, have a hedge of protection and be a soul winner for God's will. We ask that you prepare this person for their God-selected husband. We also specifically rebuke any involvement in psychic abilities, interrupt any confusion that being in a committed relationship outside of marriage causes, or being in a relationship with the wrong person. We pray their desires to align with The Word. Protect them and may come out of any of these situations changed. We rebuke any demonic spirit that causes them to accept these attacks on your word and Spirit. We plead the Blood of Jesus over their life and the lives of their loved ones. We pray that You would guide them and give them discernment, that they would walk in Your will and live according to Your Word.
In Jesus Christ name's we pray and thank you for your guidance. Amen.
Continue to meditate on God's Word, and pray for one another. Pray for God's perfect person, God's timing, and wisdom in advance. God's best spouse is worth the wait and having the gift of discernment is an asset. Blessings over you. God is not done with you.
