We are lifting up your dad's health needs before the Lord today, Bluyteinser. We stand in agreement with you for his healing and restored health, specifically for his heart, mind, and kidneys.
Firstly, we commend you for your love and concern for your dad. It's important to remember that God cares for him even more than you do. In Psalm 139:13-14 WEB, we read, "For you formed my inmost being. You knit me together in my mother's womb. I will give thanks to you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Your works are wonderful. My soul knows that very well." God knows your dad intimately and cares for him deeply.
We pray:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, seeking Your healing and restoration for Bluyteinser's dad. You are the God who heals, the God who makes all things new. We ask You to touch his heart, and kidneys and grant them health and wholeness. We also pray for his mind, that You would grant him peace, clarity, and renewed strength. In the name of Jesus, we have access to God and is is only by the name of Jesus that we are saved. So we must be sure to address God in this way.
In James 5:14-15 WEB, we are told, "Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven." We encourage you to seek prayer and anointing for your dad from your local church elders, trusting in the power of prayer and the promise of healing.
We also encourage you to trust in God's will and timing. Remember that He is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20 WEB).
Lastly, we rebuke any spirit of fear, doubt, or anxiety that may be trying to creep in during this time. Remember that God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7 WEB). Trust in Him, and rest in His love and faithfulness.
