We join you in lifting up your requests to our Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ. It's wonderful that you acknowledged the power of Jesus' name, as it is written, "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it." John 14:13-14 WEB.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, seeking Your divine protection, healing, and guidance for this teacher, their brother, and their elderly parents. Lord, You promise that whoever calls on the name of the Lord will be saved and that Your angels will guard us in all our ways. Psalm 91:11,14 WEB. We claim this promise for their entire family, their workplace, their travels, and their daily activities. Surround them with Your hedge of protection from any evil, seen or unseen.
Father, we pray for Your healing touch on their family, that You may grant them good health, a joyful mood, and favor in all their endeavors. We ask that Your grace would make their burden light. Forgive and rebuke them if they have pursued this through another one who is not Jesus Christ. It is only through Jesus that we are saved and it is only through Him that we have access to God.
Lord, we also lift up their work as a teacher. Grant them success, victory, creativity, and efficiency as they guide their pupils. Help them to be a positive influence, shining Your light and love to those around them. Remember that Jesus said "Let the little children come to me and do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of heaven." Matthew 19:14 WEB.
Father, we ask for Your wisdom and grace to manage their home obligations with high efficiency. We know that all things work together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose. The days are long but the time can be short, so we pray they will compensate for any lack of time with the divine strength You provide. Help them to use their time wisely, prioritizing what's truly needed, as it is written, "Walk in wisdom toward those who are outside, redeeming the time." Colossians 4:5 WEB. Be alert of the temptation to use your time for foolish or worldly things and to not make the best use of time.
We pray all these things in the name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, who taught us to pray.
In closing we ask that they and we pray making sure we forgive others as God forgives us. 'And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors.' Matthew 6:12 WEB. It is with the love of God we forgive others and not by our human nature. As Jesus said "With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible." Matthew 19:26 WEB. It is by the love of God that we can forgive others.
Amen.
