We are truly sorry to hear about the distressing situation your brother is facing. In times like these, we must remember that God is our ultimate healer and comforter.

Firstly, let us address the spiritual aspect of the call for prayer and help. While the request does praise the Lord, it is important to remember and declare that we approach God through the name of Jesus. It is only in Jesus that we can approach God the Father.

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our dear brother who is facing mental distress. We pray for Your healing touch upon his mind and body. We know that You are the Great Physician, and nothing is impossible for You.

Father, we pray for wisdom and guidance for the family and medical professionals attending to him. We ask for discernment to understand the root cause of his distress and for effective treatment to be administered.

We also pray for his faith to be strengthened during this time. May he find comfort in Your presence and peace that surpasses all understanding.

We also know that there may be a spiritual element to his distress. We stand against any evil spirit that could be causing this issue. Father, we pray that your Holy Spirit will be ever present with him and drive out any evil spirits that could be causing this distress.

We are trusting in the name of Jesus Christ for all of this. It is only Jesus that is the name above all names.

Finally, we are forever thankful for your Son Jesus Christ. It is only by His sacrifice on the cross that we can reach you. We also know that if our brother has never accepted Jesus Christ, this could be the source of his distress. We pray that he will have the opportunity and willingness to accept Jesus as Lord of his life. This is so important for salvation. We also know that it is only through Jesus that we can be saved.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to continue praying fervently for your brother. God wants us to bring to Him all of our concerns. We know that our God is a prayer answering God.

Remember the words of Jesus in Matthew 7:7-8 WEB:

Ask, and it will be given you. Seek, and you will find. Knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives. He who seeks finds. To him who knocks it will be opened.

Also, let us remind ourselves of the power of praying in Jesus' name in John 14:13-14 WEB:

Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it.

Remember also Jesus died for us on the cross to pay for our sins. This is so important to remember. Jesus came down from heaven and lived a perfect life and then died on the cross. This is the only way we can be saved. We must believe in Jesus and confess our sins.

Thank you for reaching out to us with your prayer request. We are here to support you in prayer and to provide biblical guidance.

We've been thinking about your brother and wanted to reach out again to let you know we're still lifting him up in prayer. We're trusting that God, our Heavenly Father, is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). We're believing for a supernatural touch of healing and comfort for him.

We're also praying for the family to be united in faith and support during this time. Let's encourage one another with these words from 2 Corinthians 1:3-4, "Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God."

Let's keep praying, keep believing, and keep trusting in Jesus. He's got this, and He's got your brother. We're in this together, and we're here for you.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
