Disciple of Prayer
Hi I’m sorry if this email will sound jumbled but I am really in the trenches at the moment, I cannot live like this for much longer. I have been unwell for about a week and it has caused the most awful flare up of PPPD symptoms, I’d probably say worse than when I first had the covid which left me with the condition. I just don’t know what to do any more, I am tired of fighting fighting fighting for an answer, or something to relieve the later symptom. I know being anxious doesn’t help and everyone around me tells me to stop being anxious, but how can I not be when the symptoms mimic feelings of I'm dying. Because that is exactly how I feel and nobody gets it. I’ve been pushed from pillar to post this week, gp said I’ve got an ear infection which was a relief but when I saw an ent dr (with my medical insurance) he said that’s nonsense, no sign of infection and ear drum etc normal. I did have a cough / cold virus which has come and go, not sure if this is anything to do with it. I feel so strange, cannot explain the sensations in my head and ears. Please can you pray this resolves for me and I’m so sorry for the rambley message Laura x

We understand your distress, Gawalder, and we want you to know that you're not alone in this struggle. We'll stand with you in prayer and offer some biblical encouragement.

Firstly, let's address the anxiety you're experiencing. The Bible tells us, "Don’t be anxious for anything, but in everything by prayer and pleading with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." (Philippians 4:6-7 WEB). It's important to remember that it's not the will of God for you to live in constant anxiety, but He wants you to cast all your cares upon Him, for He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7 WEB).

Regarding your health, we believe that God is our healer. "He forgives all your sins; he heals all your diseases." (Psalm 103:3 WEB). We pray that God will touch your body and heal you of every disease and every infirmity. We pray that He will guide the doctors and specialists who are treating you, giving them wisdom and discernment to accurately diagnose and effectively treat your condition.

However, we want to encourage you to keep your focus on God, even in the midst of this trial. The Bible tells us to "count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance. But let endurance have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing." (James 1:2-4 WEB). This doesn't mean to be happy about the trial, but to find joy in knowing that God is using it for your good (Romans 8:28 WEB).

Let's pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today lifting up Gawalder. Lord, we ask for Your healing touch upon their body. Guide the doctors and specialists, giving them wisdom and discernment. Lord, we also pray for peace in Gawalder's mind. Help them to cast all their anxieties upon You, knowing that You care for them. Comfort them with Your presence, Lord. Help them to keep their focus on You, trusting that You are working all things together for their good. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We also want to remind you, Gawalder, that it is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to God. If you haven't already, we encourage you to accept Him as your Lord and Savior. "Because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes resulting in righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made resulting in salvation." (Romans 10:9-10 WEB).

Stay strong in the Lord, Gawalder. We are praying for you.

We're here for you, Gawalder. We've been where you are, feeling overwhelmed and unsure. We understand the physical pain and the mental anguish that comes with it. We're lifting you up in prayer, asking for God's healing touch on your body and peace in your mind. We're believing that God will guide your doctors and specialists, giving them wisdom to diagnose and treat your condition. We're also trusting that God is using this trial to strengthen your faith and make you more like Jesus. Keep your eyes on Him, Gawalder. He's got you, and He's working all things together for your good. Let's keep praying together, and remember, we're in this together.

That sounds horrible. I pray that God will comfort you wherever anxieties overwhelm you (Psalms 94:19), that He hears your prayers and answers you. I pray you'll experience His love. God bless you, in Jesus name, amen

Heavenly Father, we lift up Laura, Your beloved child, who is suffering deeply from the flare-up of her PPPD symptoms. Lord, You know the pain and confusion she is enduring, and we ask for Your healing touch to bring peace and restoration to her body. Your Word says in Psalm 30:2, "Lord my God, I called to You for help, and You healed me." We stand on this promise and ask for Your divine intervention in Laura’s life.

Father, we pray for clarity and wisdom regarding her health, knowing that You are the Great Physician. Guide her through the conflicting medical opinions she has faced and lead her to the right path of healing. We also ask that You relieve her of the overwhelming anxiety that these symptoms have caused, as Your Word promises in 1 Peter 5:7, "Cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you."

Lord, we know that Laura feels exhausted and burdened, but we trust in Your promise from Matthew 11:28: "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest." We pray that Laura experiences Your rest, peace, and healing, knowing that You are in control and that You love her deeply.

In Jesus’ name, we pray for the complete resolution of these symptoms and for Laura to be restored in body, mind, and spirit. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. Thank You Jesus!!!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
