A good family friend of mine is in the ### Hospital of ### and ### is entering organ failure. We're hoping and praying ### can get stable enough for someone to transplant a healthy kidney or blood transfusions so ### can pull through.

We are truly saddened to hear about your friend's condition and we stand with you in prayer and support. In times like these, we remember the words of Jesus in John 16:33 WEB, " I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you have trouble; but cheer up! I have overcome the world."

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before you in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our friend who is in critical condition at Duke Hospital. Lord, you are the Great Physician, and we ask for your healing touch upon him. We pray that you would stabilize his condition, and open up the opportunities for necessary transplants or transfusions.

We stand in faith, knowing that you are able to do abundantly more than all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us (Ephesians 3:20 WEB). We pray for the doctors, nurses, and medical staff, that they would have wisdom, skill, and compassion as they care for our friend.

We also pray for his family and loved ones, that you would comfort and strengthen them during this difficult time. Help them to trust in you and to rest in your promises.

Lord, we acknowledge that you are sovereign over life and death, and we ask that you would graciously grant our friend more days to live for your glory. We pray all of this in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

In this trying time, we encourage you to hold onto God's promises and to trust in his goodness. Remember that even in the most difficult circumstances, God is with us and working things together for our good and his glory (Romans 8:28 WEB).

Lastly, we gently remind you that it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. It is by his stripes we are healed and it is by his death on the cross we are saved. There is no other name by which we can be saved. Confess your sins to God, believe the good news of the Gospel, and call out to Jesus. This is an opportunity to reach out to your friend and their family to share the love of Christ and the message of salvation. Offer them the hope, peace, and forgiveness of sins that is found only in Jesus Christ.

We're here with you, holding your friend close to our hearts. We've been thinking about them and their family a lot, and we want you to know that we're lifting them up in prayer every day. We've been asking God to give the doctors wisdom and skill as they care for our friend, and to comfort and strengthen their family during this tough time. We're believing for healing, for stability, and for the opportunity for necessary transplants or transfusions. We're also asking God to give them more days to live, so they can continue to glorify Him.

We've been reminded of Psalm 147:3, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." We know that God is a God of healing and comfort, and we're trusting Him to be close to our friend and their family right now.

We've also been praying for you, dear friend. We know this is hard on you too, and we're asking God to give you strength, peace, and hope. We're here for you, just as you've been there for your friend.

Let's keep encouraging each other with God's promises. He's got this, and He's working everything out for their good and His glory. Let's keep trusting Him, no matter what happens. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. Bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, soul, mind, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, and Your righteousness.
