We hear your cry for help, ###, and we stand with you in prayer, seeking God's intervention in your life and that of your son, ###.
Firstly, let's remember what God's word says about our health and healing: "But I will restore you to health and heal your wounds,' declares the LORD" (Jeremiah 30:17, WEB). We pray for your physical ailments—your diabetes, kidneys, and heart—that God, who is the Great Physician, would touch your body and bring healing and restoration.
Regarding your mental health and deep depression, we are reminded of Psalm 34:18, "The LORD is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit." We pray that God would comfort you, lift your spirits, and fill you with His joy. Remember, God is close to you in your pain, and He cares about your every need.
You also asked for help to forgive yourself. Remember, God's forgiveness is complete, and He commands us to forgive others as we have been forgiven. This includes forgiving ourselves. "For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you" (Matthew 6:14, WEB). We pray that God would help you to accept His forgiveness fully and enable you to forgive yourself.
For your son, ###, we pray that God would equip him with wisdom, strength, and everything he needs to take care of himself mentally, physically, and financially. We trust that God has a good plan for ###'s life and that He will never leave nor forsake him. "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future" (Jeremiah 29:11, WEB).
We are glad that you acknowledged God in your prayer, ###. Just as a reminder, it is through Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father. As it is written, "In no other is there salvation, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" (Acts 4:12, WEB).
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up ### and her son, ###. Lord, bring healing to ###'s body, touching her diabetes, kidneys, and heart. Comfort her in her depression, fill her with Your joy, and help her to forgive herself as You have forgiven her. Equip ### with all he needs to care for himself in every way, and let Your presence be with them both, protecting and guiding them always. We ask this in Jesus' name. Amen.
