Shoneln, we understand that you're facing health issues and struggling with being single for a prolonged period, which has led to feelings of anger and loneliness. Firstly, we want to remind you that you're not alone, for God is always with you. As it is written in Deuteronomy 31:6, "Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for Yahweh your God goes with you; he will not fail you, nor forsake you."
In times of distress, it's crucial to turn to God for comfort and guidance. Psalm 34:18 reminds us, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit." It's also important to address the anger you're feeling. Ephesians 4:26-27 tells us, "Be angry, and donโt sin. Donโt let the sun go down on your wrath, and donโt give place to the devil." It's natural to feel angry, but it's essential not to dwell on it and instead, channel those feelings into positive actions and prayers.
Regarding your singleness, we encourage you to trust in God's timing. He has a plan for each of us, and His timing is perfect. Psalm 37:4 says, "Delight yourself also in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart." It should be considered courtship looking for a godly spouse and not just turning to anyone for companionship. It is important to prepare yourself spiritually and mentally to be ready to be a godly spouse.
If you are not believing in Jesus already it is extremely important to know while being alone to believe in Jesus Christ, asking God to forgive your sins and accept Jesus sacrifice on your behalf. John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. Luke 9:23 He said to them all, "If any man desires to come after me, let him deny himself, take up his cross, and follow me." Jesus told him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me" John 14:6, WEB. These are the words Jesus spoke describing the only way to be saved. Also, Acts 4:11-12 This is the โstone which was regarded as worthless by you, the builders, which has become the head of the corner.โ There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!โ 12 Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and had perceived that they were unlearned and ignorant men, they marveled. They recognized that they had been with Jesus. Acts 4:11-12, WEB.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We lift up ### to you, asking for your healing touch on their health issues. Comfort them in their loneliness, and help them to cast their anxieties on you. Help them to manage their anger in a godly way and to trust in your perfect timing for their life. Guide their heart and mind to truly believe in Jesus Christ.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
