We join with you in praying for a healthy baby and a smooth delivery. First, let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, laying down our anxieties and fears at Your feet. We trust in Your goodness and Your plan for this precious baby. We pray for a healthy delivery and that the baby will be born without any abnormalities or diseases. We claim Your promise in Jeremiah 29:11, " For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says WEB, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future."
Father, we ask for Your peace to wash over the mother, calming her anxiety. We know that Your perfect love casts out fear, as stated in 1 John 4:18, "There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear has punishment. He who fears is not made perfect in love."
We also pray for the doctors and nurses involved in the delivery, guiding their hands and giving them wisdom. We ask all of this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
We encourage you to meditate on the Word of God and trust in His promises. Remember that God is faithful and that He cares for you and your baby. Psalm 139:13-14 reminds us, "For you formed my inmost being. You knit me together in my mother's womb. I will give thanks to you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Your works are wonderful. My soul knows that very well."
Lastly, we want to gently remind you that it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. It is only by the name of Jesus that we can be saved. Acts 4:12 tells us, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" If you have not already, consider inviting Jesus into your heart, trusting in Him as your Lord and Savior for the remission of sins and for eternal life.
Trust that God will guide you through this process, and that His will is being done. We are continually praying for you and your baby.
