We are truly sorry to hear about the struggles you're facing, and we're here to lift you up in prayer and provide some biblical encouragement.

Firstly, we want to remind you that God cares about every detail of our lives, including our financial needs and health concerns. In Matthew 6:25-34 WEB, Jesus tells us not to be anxious about our life, what we will eat, or what we will drink; nor about our body, what we will put on. "For the Gentiles seek after all these things, for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."

Let's pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister in need. Lord, You know the financial struggles they're facing, and we ask for Your provision. Help them to trust in You, that You will supply all their needs according to Your riches in glory in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:19 WEB)

We also bring their son before You. Thank You for protecting him and bringing him through the psychiatric hold. We pray for complete healing and restoration in his mind and body. Guide them to a godly, competent psychiatrist who will be able to provide the care he needs, and give wisdom and discernment to the doctors to prescribe the right medication compatible with epilepsy.

Lord, we also pray for their son's spiritual health. If he does not already know You, we pray that he will come to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. If he does know You, we pray that You will draw him closer, and give him the hope and peace that only You can provide.

We pray all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

Lastly, we want to encourage you to cast all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you. (1 Peter 5:7 WEB)

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

Be a Prayer Warrior: “Praying for others”

We continue to lift you up in prayer, dear brother or sister, thanking you for sharing your burdens with us and entrusting us with the privilege to intercede on your behalf. We are genuinely glad that you have allowed us to stand in agreement with you in prayer, and we want to encourage you in your faith as you navigate this challenging time.

Firstly, we want to cover your financial needs. We pray that the Lord will provide for your prescription, phone, and grocery needs according to His riches in glory. We also ask God to open doors for affordable medical care for your son, especially for finding a suitable psychiatrist who accepts insurance and can prescribe medication compatible with epilepsy.

Secondly, we are standing with you in prayer for your beloved 20-year-old son. We pray for God's healing touch upon his mind and spirit, and we declare that your son's life is precious and valuable no matter what the enemy may try to whisper to him. Your son's illness does not have to define him; God alone defines his identity. We pray for healing from the suicidal thoughts and tendencies. In God's mercy, your son's psychiatric hold has been lifted, and we trust that God will also release any hold that the enemy has on your son's mental and emotional faculties, and that he will be active in a local church body that actively knows and regularly encourages him.

If you have seen God's intervention in these areas, we would love for you to share a praise report with us all. Your testimony will encourage others and build our faith as a community. If you are still waiting for a breakthrough, we urge you to share your request again, so we can persist in prayer with you and storm the gates of heaven on your behalf.

We pray that you will know God's peace that passes understanding. As we wait on the Lord, let us encourage one another with these words from Isaiah 40:31.
