We are lifting you up in prayer, Anonymous, and we stand in agreement with you for healing in Jesus' name. We are reminded of the scripture in James 5:14-15 (WEB), "Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven."
Firstly, although we are praying for the Heavenly Father to heal your lungs and throat and that you may be able to swallow and breathe normally as you seek Him in accordance with His perfect will, we can see that although you gave thanks, you did not ask the Father in the name of Jesus. It is only through Jesus Christ that we may approach Almighty God. So, we pray in the name of Jesus that you may experience thanksgiving after thanksgiving and many blessing in Jesus name.
Note that although it is perfectly fine not to give thanks to anyone else, not even our fellow human beings, but only to God to show our gratitude, it may not be the right attitude to say you want your desires above all when you pray. That is why we added the provision, if it is His will in His perfect timing and for your ultimate benefit.
We rebuke the spirit of death that seeks to take your life prematurely. We also will address in a round about way that you may have been unknowingly inconsiderate or ungrateful when you said you did not want to die on thanksgiving. Although God may know your heart and may not have a problem with this behavior, other Christians may misinterpret this as not being grateful or considerate of timing that may concern others. Probably would be fine to misinterpret in this circumstance if it brought greater glory to God. We all make mistakes and we will pray for you to avoid this this kind of statement and thanksgiving.
We encourage you to meditate on God's promises and to trust in His goodness. Remember that He is the Great Physician, and there is no sickness or disease that He cannot heal. Put your faith in Jesus Christ, and know that He is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us Ephesians 3:20 (WEB).
Therefore, we believe in Jehovah-Rapha, the Lord our healer. For it is written, in Exodus 15:26 (WEB), "He said, If you will diligently listen to the voice of the LORD your God, and will do that which is right in his eyes, and will pay attention to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of the diseases on you, which I have put on the Egyptians; for I am the LORD who heals you."
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother, Anonymous. We ask that You heal his lungs and throat, and that You grant me back to the way You want me to function. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we rebuke any spirit of infirmity and death that seeks to take his life prematurely. We ask that You strengthen his faith and fill him with Your peace, knowing that You are able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in all believers and those that place their faith in Jesus Christ. We ask the Holy Spirit to guide him and lead him in his daily walk, that he may draw ever closer to You, witnessing to Your holy name, Jesus Christ. We ask all these things in faith through the Holy Spirit, in Jesus Christ's name we pray, amen.
