We understand your fears and anxieties, especially when it comes to health concerns. First, we want to remind you that God cares about every detail of your life, including your health. It's not selfish to bring your anxieties to God; He invites us to cast all our anxieties on Him because He cares for us (1 Peter 5:7 WEB).
Remember, God's perfect love casts out fear (1 John 4:18 WEB). Whenever you feel overwhelmed by anxiety, turn to God in prayer and trust in His love and care for you. It's also important to acknowledge that God is sovereign over all things, including your health. Even in the face of difficult news, He is with you and will give you the strength to face whatever comes your way. Faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen. Since we have faith, you are sure of what you hope for and certain of what you do not see (Hebrew 11:1-12 WEB).
It's concerning that you feel you can't share your feelings with your family. God calls us to carry one another's burdens (Galatians 6:2 WEB), and your family might be able to provide support and encouragement during this time. If you feel you can't talk to them, consider seeking out a trusted friend or Christian counselor to help you process your feelings.
We also want to address that your prayer does not mention Jesus. It’s important to pray by the name of Jesus. For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus (1 Timothy 2:5 WEB). Part of our faith and beliefs involves acknowledging Jesus as our almighty mediator to God. By also praying by the name of Jesus, Ykou will recognize the mercy and grace that God has given us through Jesus as our Lord and Savior. This is also a way that we can share the gospel. When they believed Philip preaching good news concerning the Kingdom of God and the name of Jesus Christ, they were baptized, both men and women (Acts 8:12-13 WEB).
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our fellow believer who is struggling with health anxiety. We know there will be no condemnation of bringing these concerns to You, God. By your word we know You care for us. However, (-cast all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you.|1 Peter 5:7 WEB) We ask for calmness whenever fears threaten to overwhelm. Grant them peace in state of mind and soundness in mind. In everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.i (Philip. 4:6-7) In Jesus' name, You can convince her fears about her health. Your perfect love will cast out all fears. There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear has punishment, and he who fears is not made perfect in love. We ask that you, our almighty God, to be in control which will help during the appointment. Moreover, we believe In Jesus' name you can help reveal what is hindering them. Lord touch their life with godly strength and guidance during these challenging times.
Finally, Father, we ask that You surround them with a supportive community, including their family, who can offer encouragement and help bear their burdens. We pray for salvation from the cares of the world. Eventually with a diagnosis this person will face what is troubling them. Variables including the ability to accept difficult news, we ask for strength to face whatever comes. We ask these things in your son Jesus' name.
Amen.
Be encouraged, and may God's peace be with you as you prepare for your appointment. Remember, God is always with you, and He will never leave you nor forsake you. We are praying for you and trusting God for a positive outcome. Trusting the Lord gave us the strength to address your concerns for salvation and acknowledge our faith in Jesus Christ. We are praying for a healthy result, but regardless we know there is more to mention. In the future, whenever you are contemplating troubling thoughts and anxiety please remember to call on the name of Jesus for guidance and salvation.
