Let's join together in prayer for ###'s Uncle ###, who is facing health issues and needs our intercession and support.
Above all things we ask that ###'s name be written in the Lamb's Book of Life and that he accept Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior and be welcomed into the kingdom. That Jesus Christ washed away his sins by the Cross. We ask that we can have confidence, not because ### deserves salvation, but because of God's mercy and grace when Jesus shed his blood for all sinners. And they sang a new song, saying, You are worthy to take the scroll and to open its seals; for you were killed, and bought us for God with your blood: out of every tribe, language, people, and nation, Revelation 5:9 WEB.
### is a human that will die at the exact time God has ordained and is a reminder that we are taught to number our days, so that we may apply our hearts to wisdom. Psalms 90:12 WEB. We are told this in Psalms and ### needs to have his name written in the Lamb's Book of Life.
Help ### to understand that the goodness of God leads to repentance. And think of God's goodness that you used to disregard. Note how God is both kind and severe. He is severe to those who disobeyed, but kind to you as you continue trusting in his kindness. Otherwise, you also will be cut off. Romans 11:22 WEB.
Our prayers are for salvation first because the heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately sick; who can understand it? The body is fragile like the grass that withers and the flower that fades. God's goal is not our comfort here on earth. So we do not lose heart. Though our outer self is wasting away, our inner self is being renewed day by day. For this light momentary affliction is preparing for us an eternal weight of glory beyond all comparison, as we look not to the things that are seen but to the things that are unseen. For the things that are seen are transient, but the things that are unseen are eternal. 2 Corinthians 4:16-18. In other words, we know that obstacles are meant to refine our faith and glorify God, not to harm us.
As believers we understand that what is seen is temporary and what is not seen is eternal. In view of this why should we pray that ###'s name be written in the Lamb's Book of life so that he may be saved from death.
In addition, to be able to pray more we ask that we can be able to discuss with ### his need for a savior. To do this we would need to contact ### and ###. But, we are not given a way to contact them and we do not have their telephone numbers or address. If they are in the United States we can likely get the local priest to go visit ### at home or in the hospital. We would be able to arrange this if we could send ### a message with a question.
We also pray for ###'s physical healing, believing in God's power to restore his body. May the God who created the universe and every living thing touch ###'s heart and make him whole again. The problems are issues with his heart and blood in the stool. The heart controlled by the Lord means life or death. Proverbs 4:20-23 states. My son, pay attention to my words. Turn your ear to my sayings. Do not let them depart from your eyes. Keep them in the middle of your heart. For they are life to those who find them, and health to their whole body. Keep your heart with all diligence, for out of it is the wellspring of life.
His bowels are spewing out life. Here is one thought. Are the bowels spewing out life because ### is rejecting God while God is sustaining his life? We are also reminded that it is an abomination to God when we reject him. We are told this in Proverbs 23:8 WEB The foreigner's morsel which you eat is like the crumbs which fall from your own table, but do not take his food away since he has put forth his labor to get it.
In dealing with ### and ### we are well aware that some traditions will say that ### has already been saved by works of righteousness performed by him or another person. Unfortunately grace is not grace if it can be earned. In Romans 11:6 People are told that grace has been given to them both as individuals and as a group. And if by grace, then it is no longer of works; otherwise grace is no longer grace. But if it is of works, it is no longer grace; otherwise work is no longer work. WEB. Note that faith is not a work that we are performing. Faith is a shield that protects us from the Judge.
While we pray for ### it is also important that we do not forsake the assembling of ourselves with the Body of Christ. In the book of Acts we are told that the saints assembled daily. Some ways that we will fail ### if we forsake the assembling ourselves together as some practice. We are told in Luke 18 and Matthew 18 that if we do not forsake the assembling of ourselves together that God will give us what we ask for in prayer. We read about forsaking the assembly in Hebrews 10:25.
We are told in Acts 2:46 that every day they continued to gather to break bread and pray in the temple court with one purpose. However, note the word "they". It refers to a church. We are told in Acts 2:42 that "they" gathered at least once a week to break bread and examine the scriptures. We read in Acts 17 that the church at Berea examined the scriptures every day. So if we are to truly follow the church described in Acts then an individual Christian needs to gather daily with other Christians to pray and examine the scriptures. When the first church was established it had about 2,500 men, plus wives and children. It would be most likely impossible for a church like that to meet together for prayer. When born again and with a new heart the primary thing that a person should want to do is get together with other believers and fellowship with them. To not gather together at least daily with other Christians to pray then one has to ask the question, does this person have the Spirit in them? ### and ### need the Spirit to have eternal life.
There is eternal life for all that call upon the name of the Lord. Romans 10:13 says For, Whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved. Regardless of whether the gospel is preached to us we can be saved by asking for forgiveness when our heart and mind is overpowered by remorse for our sins for God has set eternity in our hearts.
We are also told in Romans 10:9 that if we confess that Jesus Christ is Lord and believe in our hearts that God raised him from the dead then we shall be saved. But, we are also told in Matthew 7:21 Not everyone who says to me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter into the Kingdom of Heaven; but he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. Which means that a false prophet, or non-believer, may recognize him as the Lord. Miracles are not necessarily proof of salvation.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
