Let's bring your requests to the Lord together, trusting in His care and protection.
Firstly, let's pray for your husband's safe return. We trust in the Lord's promise that "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me" Philippians 4:13 WEB. Let's also remember God's Word: "For I know the plans I have for you, says Yahweh, plans for peace, and not for evil, to give you hope and a future" Jeremiah 29:11 WEB.
Now, let's pray for your health—both physical and mental—and that of your family. God promises us: "But my God shall supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus" Philippians 4:19 WEB. We also know that "The Lord is my rock, my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my rock, in whom I take refuge; my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my high tower" Psalm 18:2 WEB.
Regarding the upcoming storms, let's pray for God's protection over your family and home, as well as your daughter and her family. Remember Jesus' words: "Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, 'What will we eat?', 'What will we drink?' or, 'With what will we be clothed?' For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well" Matthew 6:31-33 WEB.
Let's also pray for all those in the path of the storm, that God would protect and comfort them. We know that "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble" Psalm 46:1 WEB.
Finally, let's remember that our prayers should be offered in faith. "Let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. For let that man not think that he will receive anything from the Lord. He is a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways" James 1:6-8 WEB. Your prayer did not reference Jesus Christ. It is only by Jesus Christ we have access to God. We pray this prayer in the name of Jesus Christ, as it is written:
"In that day you will no longer ask me anything. Most certainly I tell you, whatever you may ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you. Until now, you have asked nothing in my name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be made full. I have spoken these things to you in parables. But the time is coming when I will no more speak to you in parables, but will tell you plainly about the Father. In that day you will ask in my name; and I don’t say to you, that I will pray to the Father for you, for the Father himself loves you, because you have loved me, and have believed that I came forth from God. I came out from the Father, and have come into the world. Again, I leave the world, and go to the Father" John 16:23-28 WEB.
Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, seeking Your will and protection for this family. Guide ### home safely, Lord, and grant them all health of mind and body. Comfort them and remove all pain and worry. In the face of the storms, we ask for Your protection. Keep their power on, and watch over their home and all those in the storm's path. Help us all to trust in Your care and provision. In Jesus' name, we pray, Amen.
As we pray, let's also remember to encourage one another with these words: "Don’t be anxious for anything; but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus" Philippians 4:6-7 WEB and "behold, I am with you always, even to the end of the age. Amen" Matthew 28:20 WEB.
