Disciple of Prayer
[02-04 09:07] ###: I’ve opened a special needs school with a mission to make a difference in our community. Our play-based sensory curriculum is lovingly crafted to cater to the unique needs of each student, creating a nurturing and effective learning environment where they can thrive. Recognizing the financial burden many families face, I’ve set the tuition fees at an affordable R 2500.00 per month. This decision ensures that both lower-income and middle-income families can access our services without falling into significant debt. To put this into perspective, most independent special needs schools in the region charge between R 7,500 and R 15,000 per month. Currently, our fees cover only rent and essential classroom necessities. To further reduce costs, I have chosen not to take a salary. Additionally, I’m providing two children from families who are unable to afford tuition with free education—ensuring that those who truly need our services are not left behind [02-04 09:10] ###: Good my mom said I must send my prayer request to you. After years of being afraid I finally listened and left my principal job to open a very affordable school for learners with learning difficulties (ADHD and autism). But suddenly it's like everything is just dead. The children will enquire, tell me what a lovely school I have, how excited they are and then disappear or just not come back to me or respond to follow-ups. My financial situation is turning so dire atm that I might need to close down and go and look for work. It's like there's a block on everything.
