Heavenly Father,
We come before You today on behalf of Selarea, lifting up these concerns and burdens. Lord, we know that You are the Great Physician, the Healer of our bodies and minds. Your Word says in 1 Peter 5:7, "casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you." We cast all of Selarea's worries and anxieties upon You, knowing that You care deeply.
Father, we ask for Your healing touch on Selarea's health. Grant strength and vitality where it is needed. For the anxiety and depression that Selarea is facing, we pray for Your peace that surpasses all understanding, as mentioned in Philippians 4:7, "And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."
Lord, we also lift up the issue of weight gain. Help Selarea to find a balance and to make healthy choices that honor the body You have given. Give wisdom and self-control, as Your Word says in Proverbs 3:5-6, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."
We also bring before You Selarea's friends who are dealing with health issues. Lord, You are the God who heals, as it is written in Exodus 15:26, "I am Yahweh who heals you." Please extend Your healing hand to these friends, bringing restoration and comfort.
In all these things, we trust in Your good and perfect will. May Your presence be felt by Selarea and all those who are being prayed for. We pray this in Jesus' precious name, Amen.

We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
