We are lifting up in prayer, believing in God's power to heal and restore. We stand on the promise of James 5:14-15 (WEB), "Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven."
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this beloved individual who is in need of Your healing touch. Lord, You are the Great Physician, and there is no disease or infirmity that can withstand Your power.
We pray that You will heal completely and restore their body, mind, and spirit. We ask for a miraculous recovery, knowing that You are the God of the impossible. Help them handle the physical, emotional, and spiritual consequences of their poor health. Please give them the strength to endure and triumph in this trial.
Also, we pray that they will have faith in Jesus that is equal to a grain of mustard seed and will not waiver in believing in the healing power. We also pray that if they have not already done so, they will call upon the elders of their church to be anointed with oil and have special prayer offered in faith and in the name of Jesus.
In Jesus' name, we rebuke any spirit of infirmity and command it to leave. We speak life and health into their body, trusting in Your promise that "by his stripes we are healed" Isaiah 53:5 (WEB).
We also pray, if they have committed sins, that they will be forgiven.
Thank You, Lord, for Your unfailing love and mercy. We believe and receive Your healing power in Jesus' name. Amen.
If they have not trusted Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior, we pray they will trust Jesus for their salvation. For it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father and it is only by his name that we may be saved. We are saved by believing in our hearts that Jesus Christ is Lord and that God raised him from the dead.
We encourage them to draw near to God, trusting in His goodness and faithfulness. May this trial be an opportunity for them to experience Your love and grace in a deeper way.
Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6,7 (WEB).
