We are truly sorry to hear about your father's urinary infection. Let's bring this situation before the Lord, for He is the Great Physician. In all circumstances of healing, remember to include Jesus in the request, for it is by His name and authority that we are able to approach God. The Bible tells us:
"For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus." (1 Timothy 2:5 WEB)
We pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up the father of our friend to You. Lord, You know the pain and discomfort he is experiencing due to the urinary infection. We ask for Your healing touch upon his body. In the name of Jesus Christ, we rebuke the infection and command it to leave his body.
Lord, we also pray for the doctors treating him, guide their hands and give them wisdom to administer the right treatment. We believe that the father of our friend will rise from his sickbed in the name of Jesus Christ.
Father, we also pray for our friend, strengthen their faith in You, and fill their heart with peace, knowing that You are in control.
We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
In times of sickness, it's important to remember that God's will is for us to be in good health.

Remember to encourage your father to trust in the Lord, and always include Jesus in your prayers.
