We understand that you're feeling overwhelmed and in need of healing in multiple areas of your life. Firstly, we commend you for acknowledging that you need help and for turning to God in your time of need. It's important to remember that God cares about every aspect of our lives, and He wants us to cast all our anxieties on Him, because He cares for us (1 Peter 5:7 WEB).
Let's address the issues you're facing. Firstly, it's crucial to understand that work should not consume our entire lives. God instituted a day of rest for a reason (Exodus 20:8-11 WEB). It's important to set boundaries and make time for self-care, family, and personal growth. Remember, Jesus said, "For what will it profit a man, if he gains the whole world, and forfeits his life? Or what will a man give in exchange for his life?" (Matthew 16:26 WEB).
Regarding your work situation, it's commendable that you're covering shifts, but it's not your responsibility to continually cover for others' lack of commitment. It's important to communicate openly with your management about your needs and concerns. Remember what the Apostle Paul said, "For each one will bear his own load" (Galatians 6:5 WEB).
Now, let's pray for you:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today in the name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister who is in need of healing mentally, physically, emotionally, financially, and seeking stability. Lord, we ask that You guide them to make wise decisions regarding their work and personal life. Help them to set boundaries and prioritize their needs.
We pray for their healing, Lord. Heal them from any stress, anxiety, or physical ailments they may be experiencing. Restore their joy and peace, Lord. Guide them to make wise financial decisions and provide for their needs according to Your riches in glory (Philippians 4:19 WEB).
We also pray for their workplace. We ask that You would convict the hearts of their colleagues who have not been responsible. Help them to see the importance of their commitment and reliability.
Lord, we thank You that You are a God who sees and knows. You see our brother/sister's struggles and You know their needs. We trust that You will work all things together for their good (Romans 8:28 WEB).
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Lastly, we encourage you to continue to trust God with your life. He is faithful and He will see you through this challenging time. Continue to cast your cares on Him and trust that He will sustain you. Be encouraged by these words from the Psalmist, "Wait for Yahweh. Be strong, and let your heart take courage. Yes, wait for Yahweh." (Psalm 27:14 WEB).
