Let us come together in prayer for this dear individual's healing. We stand in agreement, believing that our Lord Jesus Christ is the ultimate healer and that by His stripes, we are healed.
Firstly, we acknowledge that it is only by the name of Jesus that we can approach God and ask for healing. As it is written in John 14:6 WEB
Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.
We need to believe in Jesus and pray in His name, as well as asking for healing.
It is also important to remember that we are praying for healing in Jesus' name, and that healing is dependent on God's will. We pray for healing, but we also pray for God's will to be done. As it is written in 2 Corinthians 12:7-9 WEB,
By reason of the exceeding greatness of the revelations, that I should not be exalted excessively, there was given to me a thorn in the flesh, a messenger of Satan to buffet me, that I should not be exalted excessively. Concerning this thing, I begged the Lord three times that it might depart from me. He has said to me, My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.
Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my weaknesses, that the power of Christ may rest on me.
Therefore we pray for healing, we pray this in Jesus' name, but we also pray for God to be glorified by this.
With that being said, let us pray.
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up this beloved individual who is suffering from a lump in the throat. Lord, You are the Great Physician, and we believe that by Your stripes, we are healed. We ask for Your healing touch to be upon this person, that this lump may disappear and never return. We pray for healing and restoration in their home life. We pray that their family can put their trust and faith in You. We also pray for their home life to be strengthened and restored if there are any issues there. We pray that You would be glorified through this healing.
Help us believe in you, Jesus Christ, for healing and eternal salvation.
Lord, we also pray for Your will to be done in this situation. If it is Your will for this person to go through this trial, we pray for Your grace to be sufficient for them, and for Your power to be made perfect in their weakness. We pray that You would give them the strength and endurance to face each day with courage and faith. We ask all of these things in Jesus' mighty name. Amen.
We encourage this individual and their family to read and meditate on God's Word, especially the passages that speak of His healing power and love for us. We encourage praying together. We encourage this person to turn away from any sin in their life and repent and ask the Lord for forgiveness. We encourage this person to trust in the Lord, believing in Jesus Christ for salvation. We encourage this person to look for a godly spouse to marry if they are not married. We encourage this person to trust that our Heavenly Father loves us and wants the best for us, and that He is faithful to His promises.
