We are glad to join you in prayer and to help guide you in this situation. It is commendable that you have come seeking forgiveness, true repentance is essential in our walk with God. Remember the words of Jesus in John 8:32 WEB: "You will know the truth, and the truth will make you free." Confessing your mistakes and asking for God's forgiveness is the first step in finding freedom and healing.
As you pray for healing for the person you mentioned, we join you in agreement. God is more than able to heal and restore, as it says in Psalm 147:3 WEB: "He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds." We trust in God's power to bring healing and peace, especially when we ask in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.
However, we want to remind you that happiness and peace do not come from another person or from ourselves, but from God alone. In John 15:11, Jesus says, WEB: "I have spoken these things to you, that my joy may remain in you, and that your joy may be made full." True joy and peace are found in our relationship with Jesus Christ.
We also want to address the fact that you mentioned the possibility of happiness for this person with someone else or by himself. While God can bring contentment and peace in any circumstance, it is important to align our desires with God's will. In 1 Thessalonians 4:3 WEB: "For this is the will of God: your sanctification, that you abstain from sexual immorality,". If the person is unmarried, God's will is for them to remain pure and abstain from any sexual immorality, and being yoked with an unbeliever is forbidden. If the person is married, God's will for them is to remain faithful within that marriage.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, seeking your forgiveness and healing. We confess that we have sinned and guided others in the wrong direction. Please forgive us and cleanse us from our sins.
Lord, we lift up the person mentioned, asking that you heal them from the pain caused. Bring them your happiness, peace, and contentment in their life. Help them to find their joy and fulfillment in you alone. If it is your will, bring them a godly spouse who will encourage and strengthen their faith.
Guide us all in your truth and help us to walk in your ways. In Jesus Christ's name, we pray. Amen.
Continue to seek God's will and trust in His power to heal and restore, and lead this person to a godly marriage in Jesus name. We encourage you to be bold and share the good news of the gospel with those around you.
