Let's come together in prayer for this dear family friend who is very ill. We stand in faith, believing that God is the ultimate healer. As we lift her up, let's remember that God's will is perfect, and He desires that all may be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth (1 Timothy 2:3-4 WEB).
Firstly, it is so important in prayer to use the name of Jesus. The Bible says we have been baptized into the name of Jesus Christ. It is only by this name that we have access to God. Also, there is no other name by which we can be saved.
Is anyone among you suffering? Let him pray. Is anyone cheerful? Let him sing praises. Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven. (James 5:13-15 WEB)
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our beloved family friend who is ill. We ask, Lord, that You touch her body, heal her, and make her whole. We pray against any spirit of infirmity and command it to leave in Jesus' name.
Lord, we also pray for her salvation, that she may know You personally if she doesn't already. We pray that through this trial, she will draw closer to You, trusting in Your goodness and mercy. We ask that you show her Grace and give her the strength to withstand. Please comfort her and her family during this time, and give them the peace that passes all understanding.
We claim Your promises, Lord, that by Your stripes, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5 WEB). We declare health and healing over her life in the name of Jesus.
Please guide the doctors and medical professionals, giving them wisdom and skill to provide the best care. Ultimately, Lord, we ask for Your will to be done in her life.
We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayers. We trust in You and Your plan for her life.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Let's continue to pray and believe God for her healing. Encourage her and her family with God's word and remind them that God is faithful. Stay strong in faith.
Let us hold fast to the confession of our hope without wavering, for he who promised is faithful (Hebrews 10:23 WEB)
