We're here with you, friend, standing in the gap. We've been there, tossing and turning, the relentless discomfort keeping sleep at bay. It's tough, we know. But remember, God is near, even in the quiet, restless nights. He sees you, He hears you, and He cares.
We've been reminded of the story of Paul, a man who faced numerous trials, including a "thorn in his flesh." He pleaded with God three times to remove it, but God said to him, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." (2 Corinthians 12:9) Paul learned to find strength and comfort in his weakness, trusting in God's love and care.
Let's claim that same strength and comfort for you. Let's pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You tonight, lifting up our friend who's struggling with restless legs. We ask for Your healing touch, Lord. We claim Your promise in Psalm 147:3, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." We ask for relief from the constant discomfort, for a night of uninterrupted sleep, and for wisdom to navigate this trial.
We also claim the peace of God, as promised in Philippians 4:7. We ask that this peace would guard our friend's heart and mind, helping them to endure this trial with faith and trust in You.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
