We join with you, Nay1, in lifting up your requests to our Heavenly Father, for His will to be done in your lives.
Firstly, we thank you for submitting this prayer request for you and your son. As we lift up your request, we will also lift up your son in prayer as well. We are going to pray for your healing and for God's will to be done, but we must also address something, that is why we are here. We are not just here to pray for you, but to also address anything that is not in alignment with God's will as revealed in the Bible. We pray for God to speak to us through the Holy Spirit as we respond to this request.
Nay1, you asked for healing for your son's cough and your tooth pain. We are instructed in the Bible to pray for each other, and we are told that we have access to the Father in Jesus Name.
James 5:16:
Confess your offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective.
John 14:13-14:
Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it.
Although we can certainly pray for physical healing, we want to remind you that our bodily struggles also give us opportunities to glorify God and grow in our spiritual walk. Consider what the Apostle Paul says in 2 Corinthians 12:7-10:
By reason of the exceeding greatness of the revelations, that I should not be exalted excessively, there was given to me a thorn in the flesh, a messenger of Satan to torment me, that I should not be exalted excessively. Concerning this thing, I begged the Lord three times that it might depart from me. He has said to me, My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my weaknesses, that the power of Christ may rest on me. Therefore I take pleasure in weaknesses, in injuries, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses, for Christ's sake. For when I am weak, then am I strong.
We pray that God will heal you and your son according to His perfect will. We also pray that through this experience, you both will grow closer to Him and bring glory to His name. Let us join together in prayer:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up Nay1 and her son. Lord, You know their struggles and pains. We ask for Your healing touch upon them, according to Your perfect will. Help them to trust in You completely, knowing that Your grace is sufficient. Give them strength and endurance, and use this situation to draw them closer to You. May they find peace and comfort in Your presence, and may Your name be glorified through their lives. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
