We join with you, Playsorhold, in praying for your son Thomas's healing and forgiveness. It is so important that you have brought this need before the Lord, and we stand with you in faith, believing that God hears and answers our prayers.
Firstly, we commend you for praying in Jesus' name, as this is the only way we can approach God the Father. As it is written in John 14:6 WEB: "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." And in Acts 4:12 WEB: "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
Now, let us pray together for Thomas's healing:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Thomas to Your throne of grace. Lord, You are the Great Physician, and we ask that You forgive Thomas of his sins and heal him from this illness. We claim Your promise in Isaiah 53:5 WEB: "But he was pierced for our transgressions. He was crushed for our iniquities. The punishment that brought our peace was on him; and by his wounds we are healed."
Lord Jesus, You have said, "It is finished," and we trust in Your completed work on the cross for Thomas's salvation, forgiveness, and healing. We pray that You would restore his health and strengthen his faith in You. We ask this in Your precious name, Jesus Christ. Amen.
Continue to trust in God's goodness and faithfulness, Playsorhold. We encourage you to keep praying and believing, as it is written in James 5:15 WEB: "The Lord will raise him up, and if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven. Therefore confess your sins to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective."
We also encourage you to ensure that Thomas is a Christian that believes this for himself. We are saved individually based on our own faith and trust in Jesus. It is never too late to confess Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior and accept His invitation to salvation. The Bible says in John 3:16-18 WEB, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life. For God didn't send his Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world should be saved through him. He who believes in him is not judged. He who doesn't believe has been judged already, because he has not believed in the name of the one and only Son of God."
