Leah B is in need of support, prayer and encouragement to be patient and trust in God's healing power after a nerve issue has been discovered during surgery. She is in the process of recovering and the outcome is uncertain.
In John 14:13-14 WEB Jesus said "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it."
Leah, we join you in prayer and agree in Jesus' name for your complete healing and restoration. We thank God that you have come through surgery and that the doctor's assistant has hope for a good outcome. Remember that our hope is in Jesus Christ and that He is the Great Physician. His healing power is not limited by medical prognoses. However, trusting in the Lord means we are patient and know that there is a reason for every trial we endure.
Let us pray:
"Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up our sister Leah. We thank You that You are faithful and that Your healing power is real. We pray for Leah's complete healing. We ask you to restore the median nerve and remove the extensive scarring that was found. We ask for your mercy and compassion to be evident in this situation. We pray for enduring patience and peace to fill her heart as you are working. We pray you will keep her steadfast in faith. We also pray for the medical team, that You would guide them and give them wisdom as they care for Leah. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
We urge you keep your eyes on Jesus through this trial. Wait patiently knowing that the Lord is at work. Place your hope and trust in the Lord, Leah. He will carry you through this. In James 5:10-11 WEB we read "Take, brothers, for an example of suffering and of patience, the prophets who spoke in the name of the Lord. Behold, we call them blessed who endured. You have heard of the patience of Job, and have seen the Lord in the outcome, and how the Lord is full of compassion and mercy."
Finally, continue to call on the name of Jesus and glorify Him through your testimony of healing.
