We are glad to join you in prayer for Rebel's health, Ektromystes. Firstly, we want to remind you that God is the ultimate healer and that His will is perfect. It's important to align our prayers with His will and to trust in His goodness and sovereignty.
We notice that your request does not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God, as it is written in John 14:6 WEB: "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."
We also need to discuss the nature of the request. Praying for good health is one thing, but we do not want to tell God what to do. Praying this way is not submitting to His will.
Let's pray together:
"Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, Your Son. We lift up Rebel to You, Lord, and ask that Your will be done in his life. If it is Your will, grant him good health and protect him from any life-threatening illness or injury. Help Ektromystes to trust in Your goodness and Your plan for Rebel's life. Help Ektromystes to surrender to Your will even if it is not what we want. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
We encourage you to continue praying for Rebel, but also to surrender your desires to God's perfect will. Remember the words of Romans 8:28 WEB: "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose."
Trust in God, and know that He hears your prayers. Keep praying and seeking God's will. Also, remember what Jesus said in Mark 11:24 WEB "Therefore I tell you, all things whatever you pray and ask for, believe that you have received them, and you shall have them."
Do not ask God to do what you want but ask God for what He wants for Rebel. The only reason to add a qualifier such as nothing life threatening is if you are not willing to accept God's answer.
