Glorlesk, we join with you in prayer for healing, as it is God's will for us to be in good health. We are reminded in 3 John 1:2, "Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in good health, even as your soul prospers."
However, we must also align our hearts with God's ultimate will. Sometimes, God's plan includes periods of weakness or illness to draw us closer to Him, to build our character, or to use our story to touch others. As Paul said in 2 Corinthians 12:8-9, "Concerning this thing, I begged the Lord three times that it might depart from me. He has said to me, 'My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.'"
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up Your saints who need healing. We ask for Your healing touch upon their bodies, minds, and spirits. Give them the strength to endure, and increase their faith to trust You more. Help us to remember that even in our weakness, Your power is made perfect. If it is not Your will to heal, then give them the grace to accept Your purpose, and use their journey for Your glory. Above all, Lord, help us to always pray in the name of Jesus Christ, for it is in His name that we have access to Your throne of grace, and it is in His name that we are saved. As Scripture tells us in Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved." We pray this all in Jesus' name. Amen.
In times of sickness, it's also important to call for the elders of the church to pray and anoint with oil in the name of the Lord, as instructed in James 5:14-15. So, we encourage you to seek this out if you have not already done so. Keep trusting in the Lord, and keep your eyes fixed on Him during this time.
