Shraelmor, we understand your concern and apprehension as you face another surgery, and we want you to know that we are here to pray and support you. We rejoice that you acknowledge the power in the name of Jesus, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved. As it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
We want to encourage you with God's promise of healing and comfort. In the Psalms, we are reminded that the Lord is our strength and our shield. Psalm 28:7 WEB tells us, "Yahweh is my strength and my shield. My heart has trusted in him, and I am helped. Therefore my heart greatly rejoices. With my song I will thank him."
While we pray for your physical healing, we also want to remind you of the spiritual healing and comfort that only Jesus can provide. In Matthew 11:28-30 WEB, Jesus says, "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart; and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light."
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before you in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up Sharon Morrison to your throne of grace. Lord, you know the pain and discomfort that she has been experiencing, and you understand her apprehension as she faces another surgery. We ask, Father, that you touch her body and heal her of this debilitating arthritis. Give her strength and courage as she prepares for her hip replacement surgery, and let your comforting presence be with her throughout this journey.
Lord, we also pray for Sharon's spiritual well-being. Help her to cast all her anxieties on you, because you care for her. In Jesus' name, we rebuke any spirit of fear, doubt, or discouragement that may be trying to overwhelm her, and we ask that you fill her with your perfect peace, love, and joy.
Father, we ask that your will be done in Sharon's life and that you use this situation for your glory. In the matchless name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
Continue to trust in the Lord, Sharon, and remember that he is always with you. Psalm 46:1 WEB says, "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble." Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, and let his peace rule in your heart.
