We are truly sorry to hear about the trial you are facing after your bowel cancer operation. We will stand with you in prayer and belief for your healing and also address the effects this has had on your relationship.
Firstly, we want to remind you that God is able to heal you from this condition. In the WEB, "Is anyone among you suffering? Let him pray. Is anyone cheerful? Let him sing praises. Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven. Confess your offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective." James 5:13-16.
We encourage you to confess and pray with others within the church, seeking the Lord for your healing. Remember that it is by his power that we are healed and saved "if you will confess with your mouth that Yeshua is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the Scripture says, Whoever believes in him will not be disappointed" Romans 10:9-11.
As for the effects on your relationship, we want to remind you of the sacredness of marriage and the roles God has ordained for us within it. "Let the husband render to the wife the affection owed her, and likewise also the wife to the husband. The wife doesn't have authority over her own body, but the husband. Likewise also the husband doesn't have authority over his own body, but the wife. Don't deprive one another, unless it is by consent for a season, that you may give yourselves to fasting and prayer, and may be together again, that Satan doesn't tempt you because of your lack of self-control." 1 Corinthians 7:3-5.
We must be sure that our relationships are honoring God and aligning with His word. As you pray for healing, also pray for God's will to be done in your relationship. Remember that God desires that we remain pure. "For this is the will of God: your sanctification, that you abstain from sexual immorality, that each one of you know how to possess himself of his own vessel in sanctification and honor, not in the passion of lust, even as the Gentiles who don't know God" 1 Thessalonians 4:3-5.
Let us pray together.
Father in Heaven, we come before you in the name of Jesus Christ, asking for your healing power to touch Wrdaelarn. Lord, you know the struggle and the pain, and we ask that you bring complete healing and restoration to this body. We also pray for the relationship, Lord, that your will be done, and that both individuals would remain pure and honoring to you. In the name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
