We are truly sorry to hear about Wayne's health struggles. We stand with you in prayer, believing in God's power to heal and restore. Let us remember that God is the ultimate healer, as it is written in Exodus 15:26 WEB: "If you will diligently listen to Yahweh your God's voice, and will do that which is right in his eyes, and will pay attention to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of the diseases on you, which I have put on the Egyptians; for I am Yahweh who heals you."
Firstly, we must address the lack of Jesus or God being directly addressed, referenced, or called upon in this request. It is very important that we pray in the name of Jesus to access God. It is by his name that we can be saved and have the right to pray to our creator and our father God. In fact, Acts 4:12 WEB tells us that "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" Further, John 14:6 WEB tells us that "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." So, let us first thank God for sending Jesus to die and pay the price for our sins. When we believe in him, he makes it possible for us to have access to God and to call him our father. Without Jesus we have no right to pray or to ask God for anything.
Now, let us join our faith together and pray for Wayne's complete recovery.
Heavenly Father, we come before you in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up Wayne to your throne of grace. We declare that you are the God who heals him and that by the stripes of Jesus, Wayne is healed. We pray that every ailment in his body submits to the power of the Holy Spirit and that Wayne gets completely well. We bind the spirit of infirmity and command it to leave Wayne's body in Jesus' name.
Father, we pray for Wayne's complete recovery. We ask that you restore his strength and enable him to walk without any difficulties. We pray that his appetite returns to normal and that his blood pressure stabilizes. We speak life and healing into every cell of his body and declare that no weapon formed against him shall prosper.
We also pray for the medical team attending to Wayne. We ask that you guide their hands and give them the wisdom to administer the right treatment. We pray that the antibiotics and IVs given to Wayne work effectively without any side effects.
Father, we thank you for your healing power and for the promise of divine health. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
Ektromystes, as Wayne battles this health challenge, let us encourage him with the word of God. Remind him that God is faithful and that his healing is sure, according to 1 Peter 2:24 WEB: "who his own self bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live to righteousness; by whose stripes you were healed."
We urge Wayne to remain steadfast in faith and to trust in God's healing power. We also encourage him to examine his life and make sure that he is living in a way that is pleasing to God. Sometimes, sickness can be a result of sin in our lives, as seen in 1 Corinthians 11:30 WEB: "For this cause many among you are weak and sickly, and not a few sleep." We urge Wayne to walk in obedience to God's word and to trust in His promises.
Lastly, we want to address the use of the word "rebel" in this prayer request. We are not sure what this term is referring to, but we must remind everyone that rebellion against God, also known as sin, is what leads to death. Proverbs 17:11 WEB tells us that "An evil man seeks only rebellion; therefore a cruel messenger shall be sent against him." We encourage everyone to live in obedience to God's word and to submit to His will, for His ways are higher than our ways, and His thoughts higher than our thoughts.
We stand with you, Ektromystes, believing that God is working all things out for Wayne's good and for His glory. Keep trusting in Him. In Jesus' name, we pray.
