Let's lift up Tim in prayer together, as he undergoes heart surgery today. We know that God is the ultimate healer, and His will is perfect. As we pray, let's remember the importance of praying in the name of Jesus, for it is through His name that we have access to the Father and it is only by the name of Jesus that we can be saved. Acts 4:12 (WEB): Neither is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved.
Firstly, we acknowledge that this request does not mention the name of Jesus Christ, Jesus, or Christ or an abbreviation such as IJN (In Jesus Name), then make sure to discuss this issue. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Also, there is no other name by which we can be saved.
As we also read in John 14:6 (WEB): Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.
Let's pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up our friend Tim. Lord, You know the details of his heart surgery, and we ask for Your divine intervention. Guide the hands of the surgeons, and grant them wisdom and skill. Be with Tim, Lord, and comfort him with Your presence. Remove all fear and anxiety, and replace it with Your perfect peace.
We pray for Tim's complete healing and recovery, knowing that You have a purpose for his life. We ask that You strengthen his heart, both physically and spiritually, and draw him closer to You during this time.
Lord Jesus, the name of Jesus is the only way that we have access to God. Please be with Tim and everyone involved with his surgery.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Be encouraged, knowing that God is with Tim, and He will never leave him nor forsake him. As it says in Deuteronomy 31:6 (WEB): Be strong and courageous. Don't be afraid or scared of them; for Yahweh your God himself is who goes with you. He will not fail you nor forsake you.
If there are any other concerns, particularly that Tim repents of any sin and believes in Jesus Christ, please let us know.
