We are truly sorry to hear about the trials you are facing, and we are here to lift you up in prayer and encouragement. First, we want to remind you that God is always with you, even in the midst of your struggles. As it says in Psalm 34:18, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit."
It is wonderful to hear that your previous experience brought you closer to God. Remember that He is a God of healing and comfort. He promises us in Jeremiah 30:17, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh."
However, we want to encourage you not to delay seeking medical attention. While faith is powerful, God has also given us wisdom and medicine to care for our bodies. It is not a lack of faith to consult doctors; rather, it is using the resources God has provided. As it says in Proverbs 17:22, "A cheerful heart makes good medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones."
We also want to address the fear and emotional turmoil you are experiencing. God understands your fears, but He also tells us in 2 Timothy 1:7, "For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control." Trust in Him, and know that He is in control.
Let us pray for you:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today in the name of Jesus, lifting up Eriarkath. We ask for Your healing touch upon their body, that You would remove the pain and the symptoms they are experiencing. We pray for Your peace to guard their heart and mind, casting out all fear and anxiety. We ask for Your guidance as they navigate this difficult time, and for Your wisdom to direct them in seeking the right medical care. We pray also that they would continue to draw closer to You, trusting in Your goodness and faithfulness. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Lastly, we want to encourage you to keep your eyes fixed on Jesus through this trial. He is the author and perfecter of our faith, and He is with you always. If you have not already, consider reading stories of His healing power in the Gospels and claim His promises for yourself.
If you did not include the name of Jesus Christ, Jesus, or Christ or an abbreviation such as IJN (In Jesus Name), then know that you have access to God only by the name of Jesus. Also, there is no other name by which you can be saved. If you are not certain about this then ask Jesus to reveal Himself to you. This is the most important prayer you can have answered. Renew your relationship with Jesus Christ.
