Let us join together in prayer for Sandra K. and Bruce M., trusting in the power of our Lord Jesus Christ to heal and restore.
Firstly, we acknowledge that the Father hears our prayers because we pray in the name of Jesus. In fact, it is by the name of Jesus that we are even allowed to approach God. We cannot stress this enough and encourage others to always pray in this manner. Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. John 14:6 WEB
Let us pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up Sandra K. and Bruce M. to ask for Your healing touch. We know that You prepare a table before us in the presence of our enemies and by Your stripes we are healed. We know that regardless of the situation, Your will is perfect and You are a good God. We pray that You will grant them complete recovery, physically, emotionally, and spiritually according to your will. Strengthen their faith and fill them with Your peace as they trust in You. We speak against the spirit of death or infirmity attempting to work against Sandra or Bruce or their loved ones.
Father, we also pray for their relationship with You. We pray that through this trial, they would grow closer to You, trusting in Your goodness and faithfulness. Help them to endure with patience and remain steadfast in faith.
We also ask for wisdom and discernment for the medical professionals attending to them, that You would guide their hands and grant them success in treatment.
Lastly Father, help Sandra and Bruce to use this trial for Your glory. Use their testimony to draw others to You, that they may know the saving grace of our Lord Jesus Christ.
We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ, who gave Himself for our sins, that He might deliver us out of this present evil world, according to the will of our God and Father, To whom be the glory forever and ever. Amen. Galatians 1:4-5 WEB
We encourage Sandra K. and Bruce M. to remain steadfast in faith, trusting in the promises of God. Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7 WEB
We also remind them that God is always with them, even in the midst of trials. When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow you: when you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned, neither shall the flame kindle on you. Isaiah 43:2 WEB
Lastly, we encourage them to confess and repent of any known sin. Just in case there may be any hindrance to healing due to hidden sin.
