Ziatard, we are with you in spirit and in prayer, standing together against the struggles you're facing. We appreciate your recognition of the power of collective prayer, as Jesus said, "Again, I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything you ask for, it will be done for you by my Father in heaven. For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there I am in the middle of them" Matthew 18:19-20, WEB.
Firstly, we commend you for bringing this into the light. Lust and impure thoughts, when hidden, can fester and grow, but when exposed to the light of God's presence, they begin to lose their power. As it's written, "But all things are revealed to the light. For everything that is revealed is light" (Ephesians 5:13).
We rebuke the spirit of lust that's been harassing you. Lust is not of God, but of the world, and we are called to be holy, as He is holy (1 Peter 1:16). Remember, "For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation to all men, instructing us to the intent that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we would live soberly, righteously, and godly in this present world" (Titus 2:11-12, WEB).
Let's pray together:
"Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up our brother Ziatard. Lord, You know the struggle within, the battle that wages war against the soul. We stand in agreement, Lord, rebuking the spirit of lust that's been harassing him. We pray for Your divine intervention, Lord. We ask that You fill him with Your Holy Spirit, that he may be strengthened in his inner being. We pray for Your peace that surpasses understanding to guard his heart and mind in Christ Jesus. We ask that You deliver him from these impure thoughts and give him the power to bring every thought captive to the obedience of Christ. Please help him to have no lustful inclinations or thoughts about anyone or any thing but instead be filled with pure thoughts of you and your plans for him to glorify you.
We pray that he would be transformed by the renewing of his mind, that he may prove what is the will of God, the good, acceptable, and perfect will. Lord, we ask that You would create in him a clean heart, and renew a right spirit within him. We pray that Your words would be a lamp to his feet and a light to his path, that he may walk in Your truth.
Lord, we also pray that Ziatard would take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ (2 Corinthians 10:5). We pray that he would be transformed by the renewing of his mind (Romans 12:2). We ask that he would flee from sexual immorality (1 Corinthians 6:18). We pray that he would put to death the misdeeds of the body (Romans 8:13). We ask that he would live by the Spirit, and not gratify the desires of the flesh (Galatians 5:16).
Father, we ask this in the name of Jesus Christ, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and forever. Amen."
Ziatard, continue to fight the good fight of faith. Remember, God is faithful, and He will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, He will also provide a way out so that you can endure it (1 Corinthians 10:13).
Stand firm in the faith. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, and we're here praying and believing with you.
We noticed you didn't mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is only by His name that we have access to God. As it's written, "For 'whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved.'" (Romans 10:13, WEB), and "there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" (Acts 4:12, WEB). We encourage you to call on His name, believe in His power, and trust in His love for you. Remember the basic salvation message of believing in Jesus Christ.
