We are truly sorry to hear about your husband Dan Thomas's condition. We are here with you in spirit, praying for his healing and for your comfort during this challenging time.
First, let us remind you of God's promises for healing. In Exodus 15:26 WEB, God says, "If you will diligently listen to the voice of the Lord your God, and will do that which is right in His sight, and will pay attention to His commandments, and keep all His statutes, I will put none of the diseases on you which I have put on the Egyptians; for I am the Lord who heals you."
James 5:14-15 WEB also tells us, "Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will save him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven."
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We lift up Dan Thomas, who is currently in the ICU with fluid in his lungs and ammonia. Lord, we ask for Your healing touch upon him. We pray that You would guide the hands of the medical professionals treating him and that Your will be done in his life.
We also pray for Yeaver, who feels alone and misses her husband greatly. We ask that You would comfort her, Lord, and remind her of Your ever-present love. Help her to cast all her anxieties on You, for You care for her. In Jesus Christ's name, we pray. Amen.
Remember, God is always with you, even in the toughest times. In Psalm 34:18 WEB, we read, "The Lord is near to the brokenhearted, and saves those who are crushed in spirit."
Lastly, we gently remind you that God wants us to come to Him in the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through Jesus that we have access to God, and there is no other name by which we can be saved. As it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved." If you have not already, consider putting your faith in Jesus Christ and inviting Him into your life.
