We are truly saddened to hear about ###'s cancer diagnosis and upcoming chemotherapy treatments. We stand with you in prayer and believe in the power of God to bring healing and comfort. First though we must address a critical issue. Your request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ, Jesus, or Christ or an abbreviation such as IJN for In Jesus Name. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to our heavenly father, God.
This is not our effort to be difficult or demanding, but as only the way to approach God. It is also the only way to salvation. Let us take a look at the very words of Jesus in John 14:6. Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." So we see that this is not our idea, but the words of Jesus himself.
Moreover, salvation is a free gift from God. To receive this free gift, we must ask for it. At the very same time, we must believe and confess it. In the Bible, Romans 10:9 says, "that if you will confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and believe in your heart that God has raised him from the dead, you will be saved." And truly we all need this salvation, for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. In Romans 3:23.
Now let us pray together for ### in Jesus' name, trusting in God's goodness and mercy.
Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, seeking Your healing touch for ###. Lord, You are the Great Physician, and we believe that You have the power to heal her from this cancer. We ask that Your healing presence be with her as she begins chemotherapy tomorrow. Give her strength, courage, and unwavering faith in Your goodness.
We also pray for her doctors and medical team, that You would guide their hands and give them wisdom in her treatment. Lord, we know that Your will is for ### to prosper and be in health, even as her soul prospers. 3 John 1:2. We claim Your promises of healing and wholeness for her life.
Help ### to have confidence in the fact that You love her and care for her situation. Make her feel your presence. You promised in Matthew 28:20, "that you would be with us always, even until the end of the world." Let her know that You are walking beside her during these times of distress. Give her grace to feel your compassion for her. We thank ### for your decision to confront this disease in Jesus' name. So, ###, let us praise God together with you for this obstacle in your life. Let this become a milestone of victory for you in your journey. We stand in agreement with you and fight together with you in Jesus' name. Amen.
We encourage you to continue praying and trusting in God's will for ###'s life. Remember that God's thoughts towards us are of peace and hope as described in Jeremiah 29:11.
In Jeremiah 29:11 we read, "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future."
May God bless ### and keep her close to His heart.
Further, We encourage the relatives of ### to come together, and pray for her healing. The Bible tells us in Matthew 18:20, "For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there I am in the midst of them."
