We are truly sorry to hear about your brother's pain and discomfort, especially after his recent surgery. We believe in the power of prayer and the healing touch of Jesus Christ.
In John 14:13-14 of the World English Bible (WEB), Jesus says, "Whatever you ask in my name, I will do it, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask anything in my name, I will do it." This reminds us that we should always approach the Father in Jesus' name.
We will pray for your brother's healing and comfort, trusting in God's will and His ability to heal. Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father, In precedence we lift up this request to your throne of grace.
We come to you in the name of Jesus Christ for our friend Anonymous and her brother who has recently undergone surgery and is experiencing severe leg spasms.
Lord, You tell us in Psalm 103:2-3, "Bless Yahweh, my soul, Don’t forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases."
We ask for Your healing touch to be upon his leg, that You would remove the pain and discomfort, and that Your healing power would flow through his body, in Jesus' name.
We pray for the doctors, nurses, and all those involved in his care, that they would have wisdom and skill to provide the best treatment possible.
We ask for Your peace and comfort to be with him and his family during this time, casting all our cares upon You, knowing that You care for us, according to 1 Peter 5:7.
We pray for his full recovery and that this trial would be used for Your glory and the encouragement of others as we know that all things work together for good to those who love You and are called according to Your purpose in Romans 8:28.
We ask this all in the powerful name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior.
Amen
We encourage you to continue praying and trusting in God's will for your brother's life. Keep your faith strong and remember that God is always with you, even in difficult times like Romans 8:38-39 There is nothing that would separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord, and 2 Corinthians 4:8-9 reminding us "We are pressed on every side, yet not crushed; perplexed, yet not to despair; pursued, yet not forsaken; struck down, yet not destroyed".
Share with him the Gospel message of salvation through faith in Jesus Christ if he does not already know this truth in 1 Corinthians 15:1-4. Your brother should call upon the name of the Lord to be saved in Romans 10:13, and 1 Corinthians 15:3-4: "For I delivered to you first of all that which I also received: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures,".
Please let us know how your brother is doing and if there are any other prayer needs you have. We are here to support you in prayer and in the love of Christ but more importantly our encouragement is that God is always here even when no one else is. The commitment that we show by being there is to testify that God is there even when we cannot be.
