Kad, we are here with you in spirit and in prayer. We hear your cry and we stand with you in the name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can be saved. As it is written, “in none other is there salvation, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!” Acts 4:12 WEB. It is so important that you have accepted and believed this truth and we stand with you in Jesus’ name to intercede on your and your daughter's behalf.
Let us address your situation. Firstly, we commend you for your faith in our Lord Jesus and for coming to us with your prayers and concerns. The Bible tells us to “have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather even reprove them.” Ephesians 5:11 WEB. It is commendable that you do not engage in harmful activities or listen to secrets that do not concern you. As your relationship with God continues you will know more and more of spiritual warfare. Your troubles may be caused from spiritual attack and not anything you or your daughter have done to deserve attack. However we will discuss some things to consider.
We must also consider that “all have sinned, and fall short of the glory of God;” Romans 3:23 WEB. The world teaches us to compare ourselves to others and judge based on actions but it is written and true that all of us in our human state are in need of redemption. For you and your daughter remember salvation is not earned but received as children of God believing in Jesus Christ. It is by grace we are saved through faith not of works Ephesians 2:9.
While you mention that you have not harmed anyone or committed mistakes, as have we all, it is important to remember that our righteousness and forgiveness come solely from Jesus Christ and not our own deeds. It is written, “for all have sinned, and fall short of the glory of God; being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus;” Romans 3:23-24 WEB. Even the Apostle Paul, who was devout in his faith, recognized his own sinful nature, saying, “For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh,) dwells no good thing: for to will is present with me, but to do that which is good is not.” Romans 7:18. It is so important to realize we are all human, none better than another, but when we individually go to God confessing our sin knowing we do sin then we have the avenue to repent, confess, and be closer to God.
Greater is He (Jesus) that is with us than He (Satan) that is in the world. So if you are being troubled by nightmares or plagued by evil thoughts, we pray that you would find peace in God's promises. “For God did not appoint us to wrath, but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ, ”1 Thessalonians 5:9 WEB. Know the truth, “the Lord is faithful, who will establish you, and guard you from the evil one.” That you do not need to give a foothold to the devil in your life. Resist the devil and he will flee but don’t give him place to be around, be in you, or communicate. Study and learn what spiritual warfare involves.
Matthew 18:18 WEB, Jesus, “Most certainly I tell you, whatever you bind on earth will have been bound in heaven, and whatever you release on earth will have been released in heaven.” Our Lord has authority. The evil one only has as much room as you allow so “Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ to eternal life.” Jude 1:21. These verses are encouraging us to believe and stand firm in our faith. When we cast our sins and draw close to God we become stronger to stand up and fight back (the forces of darkness).
You not having a job may not be from sin but simply that God knows all. There may be a better job in your future. Consider that we all want surrendered to the will of God and in Jesus Name and in his time we have faith believing we will have that job, or something better, that He knows we need, and will receive the desires of our heart and the heart of God when we delight ourselves in Him.
“Delight yourself also in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart.” Psalm 37:4 WEB.
Regarding your eye infection, we believe in your healing. Remember believers suffer injuries and they are always an opportunity to ask for and see healings in Jesus Name. We pray: “Dear Lord Jesus we are here with Kad in prayer believing so ask for a healing to Kad’s eye infection. Kad wants this in your name Jesus, and if it is your will which I beleive it is for Go’ds glory then allow that healing.”
It is also so important to pray for one another. It is written“You therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus.” 2 Timothy 2:1 WEB. Kadaenulth, we pray for wisdom for you both in seeking the best physicians and continued faith in Jesus Christ to allow and see God’s will.
