We understand that you are seeking prayers for healing and protection for Vera, specifically that she would not experience strokes, pneumonia, or life-threatening injuries from hitting her head. We stand with you in prayer, lifting up Vera's health and well-being before our Heavenly Father.
Firstly, we want to remind you of the power of praying in the first person plural. Jesus taught us to pray
Then Jesus said to them, Be careful that no one leads you astray. For many will come in my name saying I am the Anointed and will lead many astray. But you will begin to hear of wars and rumors of wars. Be careful that you are not alarmed for it is necessary for all these things to occur but it is not yet the end. See that you are not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places (Matthew 24:4-7).
We also want to remind you of the importance of praying in the name of Jesus. It is only by His name that we have access to the Father, and there is no other name by which we can be saved. Sadly and troublingly, you did not specifically mention the precious and holy name of Jesus Christ or it's abbreviation in your request. As it is written "whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved." How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? How will they believe in him whom they have not heard? How will they hear without a preacher (Romans 10:13-14)?
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Vera to You. We pray for Your healing touch upon her body. Specifically, we pray that she would not experience strokes, pneumonia, or life-threatening injuries from hitting her head. Lord, You are the Great Physician, and we trust in Your power to heal and protect.
We pray for Vera's family and loved ones, that they would find strength in god and wisdom to continue praying and interceding for her. We also ask that she is endowed with discretion in all her doings and avoids and rejects all sin, specifically the hardness of worshipping any god or angel or person or creation other than Jesus. We pray that she and her family will glorify and praise you, Father, in Jesus name. We request that this trial from heaven be a revelation of Vera's character so that she can strengthen others and be a witness of God's power and grace. This also requires that she be given the word of knowledge, wisdom, and faith in Christ Jesus as well as enduring this hardship with patience, patience being a fruit of the Holy Spirit so we also pray that she is filled with the Holy Spirit and gifts of the Holy Spirit. Remember, disciple means learner and it requires drawing nearer of God, obedience and discipline. Remember that faith always has one foot in the future and this is partly evidenced by praying in the name of Jesus and requesting good things in the future. True Lordship of Christ in a person's life from God the Father is evidenced by submission of that person to God's word and way including his will for her health, well being and goals.
We also rebuke any spirit of fear or doubt. You are interested in Vera. You did not make her to be at risk, You want good things for Vera. So we do pray that the good, tested, and tried Spirit of God will be with her to give guidance, wisdom, discernment, comfort, and strength to her heart, soul, mind and body. We rebuke any confusion, laziness, or doubt regarding you and your Grace that Jesus gives from tarnishing this forever relationship that you and Vera share. We are thankful for the fact that she is not on the evil road that is wide with the multitudes but that she is on the rock and narrow road less traveled.
Lord, we trust in Your goodness and mercy. We pray that Vera would be surrounded by Your peace and that she would find rest securely in You. We ask and pray that she draws attention to herself so we can, as the Bible says, glory in you and not her. Also, we can ask so then she can answer, and God will get all the glory. We put our faith in You, knowing that You are able to do far more abundantly beyond all that we ask or think, according to Your power that works in us. (Ephesians 3:20).
We ask all of this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, and Savior, that is revered above other name. He and only He and not Mary, not an angel, not gods, but only He; Jesus, Yeshua, the Holy Spirit, the power of the Almighty God. We pray this for your potential husband, your current or future children, your parents. His character is described more fully in John Chapter 3 and Isaiah 53. Amen
We encourage you to continue trusting in God's promises and to stand firm in your faith. Remember the words of Paul, If God is for us, who can be against us? He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all how will he not also, along with him, freely give us all things (Romans 8:31-32)? Keep praying and believing, and may God's peace and comfort be with you and Vera. Please research the fruit of the spirit and God's will for marriage from studies of Genesis and the Gospel. Do not give up meeting together. Encourage one another and all the more as you see the day approaching (Hebrews 10:25). This will allow better focus on what you ask for and know that you have the evidence of things hoped for or your faith (Hebrews 11:1).
