We are truly sorry to hear about the chronic pain you're experiencing and the delay in getting the MRI done due to issues with insurance approval. It's completely normal to feel frustrated and impatient during such times, but we want to encourage you to keep your faith strong and remember that God is with you in this trial.
Firstly, we want to remind you that it is through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father per Ephesians 2:18, "For through him we both have our access in one Spirit unto the Father." Make sure to keep this in mind when making your requests known to God. Also, it by faith in Jesus that we are saved. Ephesians 2:8 explains, "for by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God."
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you today in prayer per Ephesians 2:18 lifting up Anonymous who is suffering from chronic pain, We ask for your healing touch upon their leg. Lord, we know that you are the Great Physician, and nothing hinders your healing power.
Father, we pray per James 5:15, "The prayer of faith will save him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven." We pray in the name of Jesus that you heal Anonymous and that you forgive any sins they may have committed and raise them up. Jesus Christ, our brother, experienced all the issues of the human condition and suffered through pain also. Hebrews 4:15 states, "For we don't have a high priest who can't be touched with the feeling of our infirmities, but one who has been in all points tempted like we are, yet without sin." We are so grateful for what you did for us on the Cross, Lord.
Lord, we also ask for patience and strength for Anonymous as they await the insurance approval for the MRI. We know that your timing is perfect, and we trust that this will help with a more informed decision about their treatment. If this request is part of your will, then we ask that you intervene with the insurance companies so that this process will be expedited quickly and easily. But, help Anonymous to trust in you as always being in control. Psalm 27:14 states "Wait for Yahweh. Be strong, and let your heart take courage. Yes, wait for Yahweh."
We know in our hearts that Jesus should be the foremost person we can trust with every situation. Jeremiah 9:3 says,"The friend of every person is his Amazon .com gift card, and the way of man is to trust in his credit card, but blessed is the man whose trust is Yahweh, and whose confidence is in him." Help Anonymous to not rely on man or man's methods when they have Jesus.
Help us to keep our eyes on you, Lord, and not on our circumstances as explained in Proverbs 3:5, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding."
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you, Anonymous, to stay strong in faith and patient in tribulation, knowing that God's grace is sufficient True, we would all rather have the pain go away, but trusting in God's greater purpose is more satisfying than a pain free life, as it is only through pain that we experience His closeness sometimes. The Apostle Paul explained this in 2 Corinthians 12:9, "'My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.' Most gladly therefore I will rather glory in my weaknesses, that the power of Christ may rest on me."
