Let us come together in the name of Jesus Christ, for it is in His name that we have access to the Father and it is in His name that we find healing. As it says in John 14:6 (WEB), "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."
We would be remiss if we did not mention that no where in scripture are we instructed to pray to anyone other than God the Father. Jesus Christ is mediator between and us God and we pray in Jesus. Save all scriptures documented non-living saints were fallible. That is one of the focuses of the message in scripture. The greatest saint in the history of the Bible sinned greatly. That is why Christ came to the earth, to pay the debt of all our sin. "For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God". Praying to Mary or any other non-living saint takes away from the glory of Christ and his message of a relationship and that each one of us can have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
In fact, Jesus taught his disciples to pray, "“Pray like this: ‘Our Father in heaven, may your name be kept holy. May your Kingdom come soon. May your will be done on earth, as it is in heaven.. .'", Matthew 6:9-131(WEB)
Let us pray.
Father, we lift up Matt M. and David S. to you, asking for Your healing touch upon their lives. We pray against any spiritual influences that may be causing their afflictions and ask that You, Father, would heal them according to Your will. Remember to teach, guide, and encourage both Matt M. and David S. and their families as they go through whatever circumstances. Allow their current circumstances to be used to witness to non-believers about the miracle working power of Jesus Christ.
Your perfect will be done in their lives. We praise You for You are able to do abundantly more than we ask or think, according to the power that works in us. We ask all this in the name of Jesus Christ, who is the same yesterday, today, and forever. He gave His life so that Matt, David, and the rest of humanity may have access to you, God, and it is through His sacrifice that we pray for Matt, David, and for the rest of the world to know you, and to be saved in Jesus' Name. It is for His glory that Matt, David, and the rest of the world should wish, and in Jesus name that we pray to be saved in Your kingdom in the name of Jesus Christ. And, as always, we praise and thank you, Father and ask this in Jesus Name. Amen
Remember 1 Peter 2:24 (WEB) "He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live to righteousness. By his wounds you were healed."
Be encouraged, for our God is a God of miracles. He is more than able to heal. This may not be His will, but we know. " And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to his purpose", Romans 8:28 (WEB). Stand firm in faith, trusting that God's will is perfect and that He loves Matt M. and David S. more than we ever could. Continue to pray and to seek God, and remember the power of His might. In Jesus Name.
